In my past life, I was performing emergency pipeline repairs 300 meters beneath the ocean when my oxygen line ruptured. I swam back for help, only to have my wife, Summer Yates, and her first love, Zachary Gibson, lock me out of the diving bell. Not only did they ignore whether I lived or died, but they also started live-streaming an extreme no-oxygen endurance challenge to the entire internet. In the end, I suffocated and drowned. Carter wants to attempt an extreme challenge today. He's going to swim back to the surface without oxygen!" Immediately after, Zachary's voice followed, trembling with excitement. "Babe, the sponsors said if Carter succeeds this time, I'll be the lead director on next month's million-dollar documentary series!" In my past life, I had begged them through mouthfuls of blood, only to be met with Summer's impatient urging. "Stop wasting your energy. You should save your oxygen and start swimming up. You're such a strong swimmer. Just hold on for another half hour, and you'll make Zachary's dream come true!" Now, as I listened to this pair of scumbags plot against me, I sneered and cut the communication. I raised the highest-powered underwater cutting torch in my hand and aimed it directly at the main load-bearing cable connecting the diving bell to the surface vessel above. They wanted me dead, so none of them would be leaving alive either.

The day after my best friend, Sarah Blunt married Patrick, the second son of the Brosnan family, I too became a bride and wed Matthew, his older brother. She married a swimming champion, and I, the rock-climbing coach. We thought we had our futures all figured out. Then, something happened that summer. The four of us planned a getaway but Matthew and Patrick’s baby sister, Megan joined us and our peaceful trip became a crowded affair.  While rock climbing, disaster struck—the rope snapped, and all five of us plummeted into the river below. The brothers rushed frantically to save Megan, leaving Sarah and me at the mercy of the river’s current, battered and tossed like driftwood. By the time the rescue team pulled us from the water, we were bruised, scraped, and utterly spent. In the hospital, Megan and I received devastating news that would change everything.  “You’ve been pregnant for 40 days, Ma’am. How could you put yourself in such a risky situation? Your baby survived, but your friend lost hers.” Shaken, I called Matthew to tell him about the pregnancy. His anger cut through the line. “You’re angry that I went to Megs first and now you’re trying to fool me with a fake pregnancy? She’s my sister—it’s my duty to protect her!” Sarah faced her own storm. Patrick practically scoffed at her grief. “Miscarriage? Do you expect me to believe that? The doctors said you only had a 30% chance of conceiving. I can’t stand women who create drama out of nothing.” Both calls ended abruptly, leaving us stunned as we stared at each other in the sterile light of the hospital room. In that shared silence, we made our decision—we would leave these men behind and start anew, launching a business together. But when the brothers received our divorce papers, they showed up at my door in the middle of a storm, kneeling in the pouring rain, crying through the night for a second chance.

Graduate ng Magna Cum Laude sa kursong BS Management Engineering at nakakuha ng maraming awards sa iba't ibang sports ng University na pinasukan, tulad ng swimming, lawn tennis at marami pang iba. May tangkad na 5'11, makakapal na kilay, mga matang kulay kape na tagos hanggang kaluluwa kung tumingin, ilong na makipot at matangos, at mga labing maninipis na ni minsan ata ay hindi dinapuan ng ngiti ngunit lalong bumagay sa pangahan nitong muka na nagbibigay ng 'mysterious' effect sa pagkatao nito. Maraming kababaihan ang nahuhumaling dito at inggit naman sa kalalakihan. Mga bagay na hindi alintana ng binata ngunit wala naman siyang pakielam sa mga opinyon at nararamdaman nito. Namumukod tanging si Jessica Pantaleon lang ang nakakakausap ng maayos dito bukod sa pamilya niya. Si Jessica ang kababata at bestfriend na din ni Alexander. Alam nito lahat ng pinagdaanan ng binata sa unang babaeng minahal na si Mara, kaya siya lang din ang nakakaintindi sa binata. Boyish pero maganda at sexy si Jessica. Natural na straight at itim ang kanyang buhok na hanggang bewang. Bagay sa balingkinitan na katawan, morenang kutis at 5'6 na height niya. NBSB siya at hindi din nagpakita ng interes sa mga nagtangkang manligaw dito. Sa hindi inaasahang pangyayari, nagising nalang si Jessica sa tabi ni Alexander. Pareho silang walang suot na damit. Paano nalang ang mangyayari sa kanila lalo na ngayong bumalik na si Mara sa buhay ni Alexander?
