Gildeon glanced at the goblin. The two-foot creature stood on a small barrel wrapped in a net, pointing its sharp nail at a large crate covered by a worn cloth in the room's far corner.
Gildeon moved to cross over, but the sylph swiftly stepped into his path, swinging his sword in a wide arc. Gildeon ducked just in time, feeling the rush of air as the blade passed over his head. He surged forward, ramming his shoulder into the warrior's chest. The sylph grunted, staggering back into a stack of crates, which splintered with a sharp crack.
