SYLVIA I stared into Cyprian’s eyes, the bile rising in my throat. "You and your father are vile monsters," I spat out, my voice shaking with hatred. “The Moon Goddess will curse you both for what you've done. You won't get away with this." Cyprian only laughed. "Curse us? The Goddess gave you to me, Sylvia. It's too late for your tears. You need to accept reality and start learning how to be a proper wife."
