Second Light

Second Light

He smirked a little and said with an icy laugh, "You were so sure Eric would never do anything wrong. What do you have to say now?" I took a step closer and bowed to him. "Is this you saying sorry for Eric, or for what you said before?" he asked, kind of mocking me. "Mr. Lloyd, it's neither. I'm just thanking you for being there when I needed help the most," I told him. He did not move from the doorway, looking at me like he was really curious. "How do you know I want to help you and not do something else?"

Secrets Written in Light

Secrets Written in Light

However, as I neared the staircase, a kid came barreling towards me. In that split second, I tumbled down the stairs. Agony ripped through my belly, and as I stared at the dark red liquid spreading on the floor, darkness closed in. ... Marvin stood in the sterile hospital corridor, staring at a lifeless form under a stark white sheet. He read the doctor's report, each word a leaden weight. He cursed his knowledge of the words, cursed his own feeble strength. He had clung to hope, believing time would heal.

Mated to the Alpha Don

Mated to the Alpha Don

I pointed out. “Let’s hope not,” Evelina admonished. “I pick the sun as my symbol. What about you?” “Water,” I grunted. We moved together, passing through different combinations of symbols as the dials turned with every pull on the chains. Until the symbol for the sun appeared on her pillar and water appeared on the dial on my pillar.

The Dragon King's Curse

The Dragon King's Curse

“Elara!” Verath dove downward instantly. But before he reached her the light exploded. A shockwave swept through the forest. Trees bent. Dragons recoiled. The skies flashed silver. When the light faded Elara was no longer standing on the ground. She was floating. Her eyes glowed completely silver-violet. Symbols appeared around her, spinning slowly through the air. Ancient symbols. The same ones carved beneath the forest. The same ones from her visions. The Dragon of Light looked at her.

Let Them Kneel

Let Them Kneel

Then turned the Veil of Truth like a dial — slow, deliberate — until something inside it clicked into place. Light fractured. Not outward — But around them. It spilled across the courtyard in sharp, refracted bands that caught on stone, armor, shattered pillars… and the very air itself. Symbols ignited where the light struck — intricate sigils flaring into visibility across every surface like hidden constellations finally revealed. Julian’s voice cut cleanly through the rising murmur. “Do those look familiar?” He let the question hang. “They should.” His gaze swept the court. “This isn’t mage work. And it sure as hell isn’t witchcraft.”

This novel is so good from the start (not completed yet, 212 as of 1 May 2026). The mystery, the reveal, the high stakes rescue the fights. Has it all. And it all connects in a satisfying way. Love the FL and ML, such great chemistry. I couldn't wait for the updates. Highly recommend this read.

This was a really good book from beginning to end. And while it was a serial, it did have an ending which I appreciate unlike some other books on this app. Would love to see a book 2, perhaps about the children as adults. Overall, very engaging and I couldn’t wait for new chapters to be released.

MOON BOUND

MOON BOUND

Daniel looked up. "The First Light." They continued. At the top of the tower was a circular chamber. In the center floated a crystal. It was completely white. Not silver. Not blue. White. It illuminated the entire room. Luna felt the Shadow inside her become calm. Selene stepped closer. "The Moon." Daniel stared. "The Light." Luna looked at the crystal. "And me?" A dark symbol appeared beneath her feet. "The Shadow." The three symbols connected. The chamber began shaking. Their father stepped backward.

Shadows of Bloodlust

Shadows of Bloodlust

Alex said. "I see," Liam took a chair and pushed it towards the table. Then he climbed onto the chair so that he could record the whole thing. "Are you ready Liam?" Alex asked Liam. "I'm ready," Liam replied confidently. "Good, let's try the flashlight, it should work." Alex said as he carefully pointed the flashlight at each symbol, trying to find patterns or clues in them. Meanwhile, Liam and Victoria watched every movement of the torch with excitement from their respective positions. Bright light shone on the painting and the symbols that appeared began to reflect the light in strange ways.

The pocket

The pocket

The light was intense, yet soft, illuminating the chamber with a gentle luminescence. The chamber was vast, far larger than he could have imagined, its dimensions lost in the hazy glow. The walls were smooth, polished to a mirror sheen, reflecting the light in a dazzling display. The strange glowing symbols covered every inch of the surface, forming intricate patterns that seemed to shift and change before his eyes. The symbols pulsed with a soft light, creating a mesmerizing spectacle of color and movement.

Luminous: The Throne

Luminous: The Throne

“I don’t know if I deserve Light.” Alessia’s whisper slipped out before she could stop it. She stood before the Lux altar, heart pounding so hard it shook her bones. The pillar of light ahead of her shimmered like frozen sunlight—tall, white-gold, and etched with delicate symbols that glowed with a soft, holy radiance. The Lux priests stood closest to this altar—men and women in white and gold robes, intricate lines of luminous paint drawn across their brows and cheeks. Their eyes, sharp and watchful, were turned entirely toward her.

Omega to Luna

Omega to Luna

I kiss her on the lips before laying a kiss to Baxter's cheek. "Yin and Yang!!" Someone screams, making us turn towards the person. The women freezes and people evaporate from where she stood. "What?" We ask in unison, she clears her throat and rubs her neck. "Yin and Yang, the symbol of dark and light. Alpha, your hairs white but your eyes are black. And Luna, your hairs black but your eyes turn white. The Yin and Yang symbolize that with darkness, they'll also be light, and with light, they'll also be darkness." After she gets done speaking, a stupid smirk plasters itself on my face. I lift up Nicole and make her sit on my shoulder with my son.

This book is so good. The women who meet Nicole all become so strong and confident. She makes them better able to stand up for themselves and each other. I highly recommend this story. Hope there is a sequel.
