“Ash!” They both said at once that it is hard for me to know which one of them said the other color. I gave them a look that said “seriously?”. “Sorry, mine is black while Xiao owns is ash”. Xavier said. That came as a surprise to me. Xiao is the one who looks like a black lover, not the other way round. “What is yours?”. Xavier questioned. “Red!”. I stated. I don’t really have the best color but I think that red will work out just fine for me.

Falcon is surrounded by five rogues, and one of them is a prisoner who escaped from the Hidden Valley. The rogue is larger than the others and has less fur on its body. It also has visible veins. Lucien, on the other hand, was unafraid. No monstrous rogue can take him down in a single blow. Lucien shifted and the rogues started to attack him after. Lucien evaded one of their attacks and seized the other. He penetrated its skin by biting its tail. Two more rogues approached him after that, but Lucien easily stopped them by scratching their faces.

I can only assume that they believed I was taken home since it was so close to their coven. “You don’t have to be polite, dear,” Talia bats her eyelashes at my father, and I have to suppress the growl that is forming in my chest. “You can call them rogues. Just because your daughter is one…” “That is enough, Mother,” Erebus growls from his seat but Talia isn’t giving up so easily. “It is amazing that she only smells like a human. Since most rogues wreak of decaying flesh and trash,” Talia continues.

As he screams out, I drive the dagger into his chest and he falls to the ground. In general, rogues are weaker than wolves that belong to a pack. They don't have the strength that comes from the unity of being in a pack. Wolves are social creatures, and their wolves weaken significantly without that bond to an Alpha. Many rogues are on their own for years before they join other rogues, so they weaken a great deal. However, just because these rogues are weaker, they have the upper hand right now. With just four more to go, I can feel my body becoming sluggish. All my energy sources have been depleted in the last five weeks and I'm just running on pure adrenaline at this point.

The wall behind it mirrored, glass shelves held various bottles of liquor, stools sat lined up like soldiers in front of the slab of timber that had been painstakingly sanded and stained. A jukebox glowed in one corner of the room, and on the other side, a pool table whose green felt had seen better days. The stains of blood and drinks covered the once vibrant surface. A large oak table took up the middle of the room, twelve heavy chairs surrounded it. One word carved into the middle to remind anyone who was lucky enough to have a seat at the table why they were there “ROGUES”.
