She leaned in closer, suspicion creeping into her voice. Taking advantage of the time when the mothers went to listen to the principal’s speech, Takuto snuck over to the sign-in desk. He carefully climbed onto a chair, found Mrs. Nakajima’s number on the parent contact sheet, and used his saliva to wet his finger. Then, in his finest CEO handwriting, he drew a crooked stock chart next to her number. "As long as she’s professional..." he thought to himself. "This could work." But before he could finish his work, Takuto felt a sudden force lift him into the air.

Let Taka come to them. He winked at his brother. Smart. “Pack?” Taka blinked, his eyes widening. “Whoa, you have a pack?” His grin spread wide, his gaze darting between them. “If I joined your pack, you’d indulge me, right?” Tatsuya took a slow sip of his coffee, calm as stone. “If I accept you, yes,” Taiga said, watching carefully as Taka’s eyes went round with excitement. So easy. He hadn’t expected it to play out this smoothly.

She touched one drawing. "This is the river. This is the buildings. This is the chamber." She moved her hand along the progression. "This is the arrivals. All of it, drawn, in order." She stopped. "And then this." Aria crouched down. The drawing at the end of the sequence was different from the others. Not architectural. Not geographical. Not the specific practical diagrams Elena had used for the physical preparations. A circle. Inside it, two figures. One large. One very small.

I was just about to call after her - to tell her that we weren't done talking when she returned, clutching a stack of papers between her fingers. She crossed the room to where I was standing and held it out to me. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." I took the papers and began flipping through them - fast at first, but slower and slower when I realized what I was looking at. Drawings that Tate did. Various drawings of himself playing with other pups, drawings of the two of us with the rest of the pack, drawings of the two of us as a family with a faceless father figure, and finally, a drawing of a pack with a lone pup standing off to the side with drooped ears and a hanging tail.

As he sat there, focused on the sketching, Hibiki caught sight of his new friend, Tatsu, who sat across from him. Tatsu had dark brown hair and bright, inquisitive eyes, always asking questions about anything and everything. Hibiki smiled shyly as Tatsu leaned over to take a look at his drawing. “That looks so cool!” Tatsu whispered. “You’re gonna win the award for sure. It’s like something from a movie!” Hibiki grinned, a little bashful but pleased with the compliment. “You think so?”

Jade screamed angrily, tearing out and crumpling up a sheet of paper from her sketchbook. She threw it across the room and it landed on the floor close to the door, increasing the litter of crumpled paper and broken pencils in the room. She took a new pencil from behind her ears, her fingers shaky as she began to draw lines and curves, in readiness for another sketch. Closing her eyes, she tried to picture a face, Tiger's face - that was what they called him but she knew his name began with the letter H.

Disheartened she just prayed that she finds something or the other is in the bedside drawer. When she opened the drawer the first thing that she saw was a gun. Isabella did not even touch it or try to lift it because she had seen enough of thriller movies to know that you could surely get your fingerprints on that and she didn't want anything like that to happen. though she gasped when she saw it for the first time, she scolded herself mentally like what was she expecting in the mafia leaders drawer.

I questioned, jutting my chin towards the ceiling as if Tia could see me. "Oh, just a drawing," She answered, and I tilted my head to the side, trying to understand the patterns. I hummed, rubbing my temples. "What does it mean?" I questioned, scanning the white surface which had some dots and lines connecting some parts. "Squint your eyes," Tia instructed. I followed her instructions, making out the drawing of a man and a woman. "Oh, wow! How was it drawn to only work when you squint your eyes?" I asked, releasing my brows and eyes.
