---Week Later--- Each day of last week is the same except for the 1st day as I got trouble with King Luke. Today I am going to the library to find information about TCLU. I have been to the library and I have been looking at many bookshelves. This library is large enough that almost all students can be here but no one is. I only saw the old librarian that sat in front of a stack of books while reading.

I returned the book and borrowed the book 2 for that book, just like the first book that has fifty three chapters, this second one also has the same number of chapters whereby one chapter has about two thousands plus words. I finished the second book also and returned the book but after returning that one, I could not see the book three for that same book. I knew the book was supposed to have book three. On getting back to the library to return the second book and borrow book three, I could not see it there. I asked the library keeper about it, he said there was no book there. I had to argue with him that the book has book three but he insisted and later asked me not to say anything about. H

“Yeah… Animorphs and Goosebumps in elementary school do not a reader make.” “Hey, those are quality pieces of literature!” I declare. “Says who?” “Says me!” I huff, crossing my arms. “And I’ve read other books too! I like Stephen King and Michael Crichton and Neil Gaiman and—“ “Okay, okay,” he surrenders, lifting his hands and cutting me off. “Seriously, though, why are you going to the library?” “I’m going to do some research.” “For what?” “New training methods. Double checking some of the warrior laws for the kingdom.”

So I watched the people. One evening, I intentionally returned a book much later than necessary. The librarian smiled warmly as she accepted it. "You've been reading quite a lot, Luna." "I'm trying to understand the dynasty." She laughed softly. "Books help." "They do." I smiled back "But conversations help more." she said, again I tilted my head. "What kind of conversations?" "The ones people don't realize they're having." I smiled. "I'll remember that." She smiled back. We spoke for another fifteen minutes. About nothing important. Or so it appeared.

“It’s for your legs.” “And that one?” “Your arms,” Leina said patiently, though her lips twitched. “And that?” “Abs.” I pursed my lips, cheeks warming. “So… it’s just torture machines. Fancy ones.” They burst into laughter. “Not torture,” Liya said between giggles. “Training. But maybe we’ll teach you one day. If Mr. Kaine lets us.” Her eyes glimmered mischievously. Their laughter followed us into the cinema room, the conservatory with plants taller than me, and finally the library. I stopped breathing there, staring at rows and rows of books—old and new, leather-bound and glossy, their spines like soldiers waiting for command.

As I perused the books, I could feel Aidan’s gaze on me. The shop, much like the one downstairs, boasted an impressive selection. These were books to be enjoyed in the coffee lounge, not purchased or taken home. A smile tugged at my lips as I reached the romance novel section. So, Well Thumbed had these too. I wondered if they had hidden gems, perhaps something I hadn’t read or that Uncle Alex’s book club, Bound To Please, hadn’t discovered yet.

Different genres of books line the shelves, their spines whispering promises of forgotten tales and undiscovered knowledge. “Woah, how did I not know of this magnificent place?” Joy bubbles within me at the sight of this treasure. “Did Damon intentionally put that painting to lead me here?” My voice echoes in the vast underground library that looks the size of three chambers. My steps quicken, and I begin to explore the books on the shelves. There are lots of books- ranging from history books, to mind building books, fantasy, and other about the principles of being an Alpha. Other shelves have folktales, and even romance novels.

SHS 243 They ate in silence, up until dessert. No one spoke a word and it stayed that way until they were brought into the library. No one spoke as each of them were encouraged to pick a book in the vast collection of books inside the library. As they sat into the chairs available at the library, only then did the conversation start at the pretence of wanting to know what book they found. “How about you, Hestia? Albert? What book did you pick?”

"I'm glad. It sounds perfect." The following Tuesday, I walked into the library's community room. Around the table sat a handful of women—Agnes, a retired schoolteacher named Betty, a young mother named Sarah who desperately needed the adult conversation. They were discussing the first three chapters with a passion that was both earnest and endearing. There were no high stakes, no hidden agendas. Just a shared love of a story.

He hesitates, glances at me briefly, then back to the road. “Would you, by any chance, know where the library is located around here?” The question catches me off guard. And instantly lights something up inside me. “Yes, I do,” I respond, a little too quickly. The excitement bubbles up before I can stop it, spilling out of me in a rush. “That’s actually where I met Tabitha for the first time. She loves books, and oh my God, she was so updated on everything, like, genres, authors, publishing gossip and she’s literally the only person I’ve had proper book talks with in a long—”
