SIGHTLESS OBSESSION
She leaned forward, her lips almost touching the indentation.
And she began to sing.
It was a wordless melody, a lullaby, her voice thin and reedy in the vast, cold space, yet hauntingly beautiful. It was the song her mother had sung to her, the one Gloria had hummed to comfort her. The song of the stars she could never see.
The vault remained sealed.
