Eddie was happy to see Carol excited. Eddie had saved his money he made from picking up pecans for the neighbor. This was the first time Carol had ever received a toy. She slept with the teddy every night. She took the teddy with her everywhere she went. It was her best Christmas ever. Eddie had proven that he could provide for the family.
