Not My Brother

Not My Brother

We had a long enough conversation to come to the conclusion that I should join the special forces. The counselor went over the enlistment agreement with me. I willingly signed the agreement. I was fingerprinted for background checks and security clearance. I was finally done for the day. Tomorrow, we'll take the oath of enlistment, and then we'll head to base right after. Food and lodging was provided. It was a long day, and I was finally ready to go to sleep. *** The next day, I woke up early. I took a shower, got dressed, ate breakfast, and drank an extremely bitter coffee before starting off my day.

Christmas Cove

Christmas Cove

"No, not everyone gets to take a whole month off." Caden sighed. "Yeah, well, I have a big decision to make." Caden's enlistment was up and he was going to take the month to decide if he wanted to reenlist or not. Including basic training and BUD/S, he had been in the Navy for eight long years. And although he loved serving his country, he found that he was missing home--something he never thought would be possible.

Rejecting His Queen

Rejecting His Queen

I state, writing the idea down in the notebook Liam hands me. “But I do want to state that this will be voluntary. Wolves will have a five-year term in the military and can decide to either leave with an honorable discharge or remain in the military and serve another five years. The condition is that they will be loyal to Nightlock Thorns and not the packs they came from. On that note, they will be their own pack that can freely roam Canada if need be.” I continue, writing down the idea and taking time to think about how things will work with this new plan.

Rebel Rising The Lost Alpha's Mate

Rebel Rising The Lost Alpha's Mate

I shoot a look at Tank, who is trying not to laugh. “I hear you all wished to speak with me. Spit it out so I can move along to other important matters.” “We are rogues.” One man from the back says. “By choice.” “Are you all from the same pack?” “No. Sir. well–I mean, a few of us are, but not all of us.” “Were you forced to serve as warriors?” I ask, crossing my arms across my chest as I look them all over. “In our pack, Blue Mist, we begin to train at fourteen. If we show promise, we must serve for five years after we turn eighteen and have our wolves. We aren’t allowed to do anything other than train, eat, and sleep.”

This was my first time reading a story from this author, and I have to say… it was one of the best books I’ve read! There are several amazing authors on this ad, and this one is now added to that list! The story was so well written with beautiful character progression. Absolutely worth a read! :)

Second book of yours I'm reading, I've also read the Mate Gamble. This is right on par with that and I plan on keeping it for a reread. Was seeing that there was going to be a sequel is that still in the works? And we definitely need a book for Tank. Can't wait for that one! .........

Betrayed, I Become The CEO'S Contracted Bride

Betrayed, I Become The CEO'S Contracted Bride

"The pattern fits. The pattern fitting once is one source. I want the intake date against the schedule before I'll name anyone." She set the student's enrollment date beside the first consignment in the eighteen-month log. They were the same week. The student had entered the early-entry program and the thirty-day count had begun in the same seven days. Not enrollment, then later a dosing decision. Enrollment as the dosing decision. The school admission and the maintenance schedule were one event, started together, run together since. "Two," she said. Intake-and-cadence. Spike-and-delivery. Two independent agreements.

7 Nights With My Step Brother's Rival

7 Nights With My Step Brother's Rival

"Absolutely not." Sienna's voice was firm. Final. "You're fourteen. You don't know what you're saying. The military means war. Violence. Death. I won't allow it." "You won't have a choice," Arthur replied. Calm. Determined. "When I'm eighteen. I'm an adult. I can enlist without permission. I'm telling you now. Out of respect. Not asking permission. Just informing you of my decision." "Arthur..." Dante's voice carried warning. "Don't speak to your mother that way. Show respect."

Terms and Conditions Apply

Terms and Conditions Apply

I cleared my throat. “I’m not hiring assistants, Bradley. An employee should at least have some sense of decorum.” I said, resting a hand on the desk. Almost mocking myself for wanting to say this. “Andrea should be enrolled as a staff along with the selected candidates.” I added Bradley blinked. “Sir, our policy—” “Doesn’t apply to clients funding the expansion wing,” I said lightly. “Or to people the founder asked to sit in. True?" Bradley froze. “You’re serious,” he said quietly.

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

"When can I start?" "You're sure about this?" Nicki asked. Her playfulness had faded from her eyes, replaced by a seriousness only she could pull off. Nicki and Dustin were both responsible for choosing new recruits, and they took the job seriously. "You know it won't be easy, right? You'll have one month of basic training, and then we hold a tournament. Only the top ten of your class will get to move on." I waited for the fear to flood my stomach, but nothing came. The hole in my chest was a swirling pit, sucking every ounce of emotion from my body, but I knew what my decision would be.

I normally don't write comments but I need to tell you that I wait everyday for more chapters. your writing makes me feel like I'm the one experiencing this first hand and I'm always begging for more. so beautifully written and I love every minute of it. if I could I'd give this book a million stars
Erin Sophia Lockman
This book was slow at first and filled with a lot of pain, but I find myself being a sucker for the wounded girl who becomes a strong, badass fighter. While I'm still clamoring for more of the raw, love/hate relationship in this book, I am enjoying the determination of the strong female protagonist.

Mated to the Wolf and Dragon

Mated to the Wolf and Dragon

she stopped. "What do you mean? Come home?" "Oh, I didn't want to tell you but the king called you in for duty, you are supposed to leave in 2 weeks." In Vortouhi, all people, men and women alike are required to serve at least 3 years in the military after they turn 18. Red's eyes welled up with tears. She knew it was coming, her birthday was almost seven months ago. But why now? Why? "Mom, my life sucks."
