It was time to bid farewell to their fallen comrade, to honor Tyler's memory and lay him to rest. In a solemn ceremony, they gathered around Tyler's final resting place, a serene clearing deep within the heart of the forest. The pack, united in their grief, stood in silent reverence as Miguel delivered a heartfelt eulogy. Tears mingled with the earth as they lowered Tyler's body into the sacred ground, each member offering a silent prayer for their departed brother.

Lines extended outward from the plateau — beyond what they could see. Other faint pulses answered in the distance. More nodes. Not all awake. But present. “You have initiated full network reactivation,” the figure continued. Mara’s heart pounded once, heavy. “Across how far?” “Continental.” The word settled over them like gravity. Tomas exhaled slowly. “That will change territorial balance everywhere.” “Yes.” The projection turned its focus back to Mara and Serik. “You must choose structural governance or distributed autonomy.” Mara frowned slightly. “Explain.”

Lyra's Pov Garrett Stone arrives with fifty warriors and a smile that promises trouble. The week after the ceremony passed in a blur of new routines and small victories. I was still learning the rhythm of the Northern Territory when the news spread through the pack house like wildfire. Alpha Garrett Stone from the Western Territory was coming for official trade negotiations. He brought fifty warriors with him, a clear show of strength and a subtle reminder that he was not to be underestimated. Theron had agreed to the visit, but the entire compound felt tense. Everyone knew this was more than trade talks. Garrett wanted to see Theron's new contract Luna up close.

When he had asked the guard who gave him the order to keep an eye on him, the demon had told him that it was an order issued by his Queen. Darach got the idea that this was a 'Marked Territory' and his King status won't aid him here. He was not in a position to fight. These people reside here with his mate, they might be her friends and starting a fight with them won't end in his benefit. He can sense a large number of Lycans on this land but he had not even seen a single one which had him thinking that the snow might have effected his senses or this land hides more secrets than the snow.

All three seem more likely, though, and while it’s a small comfort to think that he won’t sell me to someone who I will definitely have to kill in self defense, it’s not a large comfort. Caldara is a blistering cold tundra full of mountains, remote, heavy in infantry, and light on resources outside of conquered lands. Its entire infrastructure is supported by its conquered territories. Varek has to continue to conquer or get some sort of trade agreement in place. Varek should be looking to secure the state of his army, his people and their livelihood with viable land and trade agreements.

Ethan said. He reached into his vest and pulled out a rolled-up map. He threw it onto the deck between them. "The Northern Territory," Ethan said. Silence slammed into the group. Even the restless rogues behind the Warlords went still. The Northern Territory was vast—millions of acres of forest, mountains, and coastline stretching from the Canadian border down to the edge of Seattle. It was wild, resource-rich, and heavily guarded by Council treaties. "You lie," Silas hissed. "The Council holds the North. The barrier spells alone are impenetrable."

"We don't have the authority or the strength to police every territory." "No, but we can create consequences," I countered. "Territories that comply get access to our resources, our enhanced soldiers for defense, and our trade networks. Those who don't, they are on their own." Milo considered this, his hand absently going to where Ezra slept in the cradle beside us. I could practically see him thinking about all the omegas who would suffer if we allowed territories to maintain exploitative practices. "We'll need to be strategic," he finally said. "Start with the territories that are already willing, show them the benefits of the new system. As they thrive, it'll put pressure on the holdouts

One territory at a time. Until omega autonomy isn't controversial demand but accepted reality.

ELI'S POV Two years after the treaty signing, the Supernatural Rights Act passed into formal territorial law. Not just the treaty framework anymore — actual legislation that had been drafted by a committee I'd chaired, that established protections across multiple pack territories, that created enforcement mechanisms that would survive beyond any individual person's involvement. The legislation signing happened at the governance board office in a ceremony I attended alongside Kieran, Drea, Cole, and the three territorial Alphas who'd been the strongest supporters.
