The Vagabond Pack was destined to protect, be mate-less, and be unaffected by the heating season. When Alpha Ciandra's period arrived, she left immediately, leaving behind the pack under her beta's leadership. Aware of the cruelty of the alpha she was fated to protect, she was confident she would manage, after all, she was strong and focused, little did she know she was walking into forever damnation. With his cruel, noxious, and possessive traits, he needed a strong warrior to guard him and not some feeble wolf who would crumble under his command. Alpha Alphonso got more though, a second chance mate, and hell, he couldn’t miss the opportunity of turning her into a mere wolf by defiling her against her wish. Once the elders learned of their ‘relationship’, Alpha Alphonso blamed and rejected her. The elders cast her out, turning the once great Alpha Ciandra into a broken wolf. With her previous pack shunning her, she fled only to be captured by Alpha Alphonso's men and went through hell inside the Dark Shadow Pack. Once she managed to escape, she promised herself to return to avenge herself and make everyone pay, even the moon goddess who betrayed her by giving her a mate she never asked for.
