Novel & Cerita The Alpha's Secret Heiress

We already lost our glands hundreds of years ago. I kept calm and took in more deep breaths. She noticed me leaning on the kitchen door frame, staring at her. I kept it cool like I was waiting for her to notice me. "Glad you noticed. We need to talk, sit this down on the sofa." Lia was clueless. "About...?" "Avalia Lunne, the Lost Heiress." I went down the kitchen table and dropped a 10-page backstory of her fake life. "Remember this by heart."

I command, my voice thunderous and three servants immediately run in. I turn to the servants, my voice hard and commanding. “Everything that belongs to her, burn it all. Every single thing, her books, her clothes, her portraits. I want every trace of her in this house, gone. And I never want to hear her name again, am I understood?” “Yes Alpha” They respond in unison. They exchange glances, shocked, but they obey without question. And quite honestly I don’t care. My eyes are wild, scanning the room.

Valerie greets the witch and opens the door wide enough for her to enter. A woman who is the same age as our mother enters the room. A faint smell of roses reaches my nostrils. She wears a white cloak and has a hood over her bright red hair. She removes the hood and bows, a gentle smile on her lips. Her lips are as red as blood and her cheeks are rosy. It seems like she has prepared herself for this event especially. “I greet Valerie Summers and Nicole Summers, the Alpha Heirs of the Blood Moon Pack.” I stare at the woman, speechless at her statement. An Alpha Heir? Me? The newly revealed secrets make me feel like I’m carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders.

*** The three most powerful Alphas had reconvened for a meeting again, and the focus of the day was April Lawson. She was the woman who held the strings of fate in her hands without even knowing it. Those strings were their precious Alpha Heirs, and if tugged on the strings hard enough, the entire world would come crumbling down as she unleashed irreversible damnation. The Alpha Kings couldn’t sit quietly and watch it happen, so they sat around a round table in their secret meeting place and sought to stop the deadly prophecy’s fulfillment.

My phone starts ringing and I look down at it and it's a number that I don't recognise but I still pick it up, thinking that it's Effie but I was wrong. “Good morning Miss Edmund.” Alpha Bowers greets when I answer the call. “Good morning Alpha Bowers.” I greet him cordially even though I'm still I'm still seething. “I'm calling to invite you to my house today.” He tells me. He's the Alpha of Blood Moon Pack and his family basically owns Delmoore which means that his house is going to be at the center of it all. “Your house? At your pack?” I ask him. “That's right, is that going to be a problem?” He asks me.

They were the largest, most powerful wolf pack in existence. "I... yes," I managed to stammer out. "Ah, so you do know them," Agatha said, her voice sickly sweet. "Then perhaps you can explain something to me. You see, I've heard a fascinating rumour. They say the Griffith Alpha King has a daughter. A beloved princess, hidden away from the world." She paused, letting her words hang in the air. The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. "Now, correct me if I'm wrong," she continued, her eyes gleaming with malice, "is it true that this princess... disappeared a few years ago? Rumour has it she ran away from home.”

he answered, “they would have killed you.” Selena froze. He stepped closer, eyes burning with the truth he had buried for years. “You don’t understand what they are capable of. They would have ripped you apart. You, a human, carrying Alpha heirs? They would’ve massacred you before you could even give birth.” Selena swallowed hard. “You still left.” “I didn’t leave,” he said. “I hid you. I protected you. I severed us publicly so the Council wouldn’t notice how deeply intertwined our fates already were.”

“The magic doesn’t lie, Alpha.” A new image appeared in the flames—my childhood photograph with Alpha Nathan and Luna Daphne. The red hair and green eyes were unmistakable. The crowd was left open-mouthed again. “That’s right.” I met their stares. “The lost Moon heir, stolen as an infant. The girl you all sneered at and pitied? She’s the daughter of the most powerful Alpha in three territories.” “A convenient story,” Dominic growled. “Truth often is inconvenient,” I replied smoothly. “Especially for those who preferred me to be weak and controlled.”

“All my life, I was not formally recognized as the King’s heir. But now, seeing as our illustrious female Alpha has lost her wolf and misbehaved terribly, my father has finally recognized me. I am the heir now. I have received my inheritance.” Everyone looked at me. “You were the female Alpha?” I heard someone say. “You?” “Yes, me!” I whirled around. “And Bianca has received nothing! She’s manipulating my father—” “If you’re the female Alpha, then where is your wolf?!” someone shouted from the back.

Underneath the photo was a second message, which was just an address. “I don’t know where that is,” I whispered. Was this what he did when I wasn’t with him? Did I know my husband at all? Zoe took the phone back and gave it a quick glance before saying, “I do. It’s a club, not far from here. Well – not a club club, exactly. It’s more of a private venue, used for gatherings by the Alpha families.” My heart sank even further. “How will I get in? I’m part of an Alpha family through marriage; I’m not a legitimate heir.”
