Novel & Cerita The Alpha's Secret Heiress

She said, slowly standing upright. “Luna?” The second woman whispered, her voice trembling. “Is that you? But…but you’re dead. You’re supposed to be dead.” She took a step back, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and surprise. “It truly is you, isn’t it?” The first woman came closer trying to inspect her face, Athena avoided her gaze. “Your eyes, your hair…you were our Luna, Alpha James' heir. What kind of dark magic is this?” She insisted.

“Don’t call me that.” “If you weren’t my best friend and my Alpha King, I would have slit your throat right now,” he growled. “I know.” I chuckled and walked over to the wooden box on the grass, grabbing a bottle of water. I sat down as Kyle joined me, both of us breathing heavily. After a moment of silence, he asked, “The two pretty ladies and the kid… why did you bring them here? The whole palace is already buzzing with rumors.” I clenched my jaw. “I told you… I found my heir. The woman who fainted is his mother. The other lady is her human friend.”

A woman in a stunning red dress stood beside him, her hand clasped in his, her face glowing with triumph. Selene Ravenshade. "I present to you my chosen Luna!" Rowan's voice rang out across the packed hall. He pulled Selene closer, his eyes warm as he gazed at her. "Selene Raveshade, daughter of the Raveshade bloodline, a true female alpha heiress. Our union will bring unprecedented strength to this pack!" The Alpha heiress? That was impossible! I was the only Female Alpha heiress! But just as I was about to shout it over, the crowd erupted in deafening cheers.

Aria's POV "Are you ready, Aria?" I nodded at the face of my new assistant, Alice. There was a lot of noise where we were so I didn't bother speaking. We were at an event hosted by my brothers. Kael had themed it: UNVEILING BLOODMOON'S LEADER. I heard his speech as we waited backstage. He had just finished telling the people gathered that he was relinquishing his position as Alpha leader and handing over to his sister, Aria Black.

ERENDINA. Still, I continue, “I’m the Alpha’s daughter. You won’t go unpunished.” Something I don’t quite recognize passes through his eyes, but it’s gone before I can register it, and the silence stretches for a few beats more before his touch is gone. He takes two steps back without a word, taking me in again before he turns away. I rush forward the second he’s out of the room, clicking the lock on the door. I fall against it with my hand clenched to my chest, and the breath I’ve been holding the entire time escapes as my head drops back, eyes closing.

It was a note she made on the day she was taken to Leon's pack. “I know my father never agreed to let his brother take over the pack, and I am the true heir to the Alpha seat of my pack. But my uncle will not let me have what is mine. But in order to let peace reign, I will play his game until I decide what to do. But the leadership of the pack will never be given to him.” “The Journal! Wait, she was meant to be the Alpha, this whole time?”

"Except... there was a prophecy. A whisper, carried on the wind of that dark night. 'The silver sprout will bloom again, hidden within the strongest roots. When the true Alpha calls, the lost heart will awaken.'" A jolt went through me. The strongest roots. My family, My bloodline. Olivia. And when the true Alpha calls, the lost heart will awaken. My Alpha command. Her momentary resistance. Her sudden vibrant health and heightened senses. It was all falling into place with a terrifying, devastating clarity. "Who helped them?" I demanded, my voice low, my wolf restless beneath my skin. "Who allowed an heir to survive, and be hidden?"

After all, her mother warned her and she ignored that warning. Heaven thought she was Ziason’s secret. But when he mentioned it, she realized who it is. Kaicha. The real question is: why is she a secret? And why would he go to such a length as killing his lawyer just to maintain that secret? Also, she doesn’t exactly understand what the second secret is. Sure, she knows he’s cursed. A cursed Alpha wouldn’t survive a day in a pack, as all other packs would come rushing to try and dethrone the Alpha, since it’s in the law that a cursed Alpha shall not rule. But she doesn’t know what the curse is.

“I wanted to know who you really were.” She hesitated. “…Does that mean you’ll keep my secret?” A familiar spark returned to his eyes. “Maybe.” She stared. “Maybe not.” She groaned loudly. “You’re unbelievable.” “Maybe.” He smiled. “Maybe not.” She folded her arms. “Do you always enjoy being this infuriating?” He shrugged. “I’m an Alpha.” “Were you expecting poetry?” She snorted. “I was expecting basic decency.” “That was your first mistake.” She threw both hands into the air.

It was a dominant, predatory musk that made Kael’s knees feel like they were made of water. "Discretion is a tool, Kael. But secrets? Secrets are a liability." Lucien straightened up, the tension breaking just enough to let Kael breathe, though the Alpha’s eyes remained fixed on him. "Get your coat. The car is downstairs. We have a gala to attend, and I expect my partner to look like he belongs at the top of the food chain, not hiding in the shadows of my office."
