The Alpha's True Mate の小説・ストーリー

“A good mood, huh? That’s rare for you. Did something happen?” I bit my lower lip. There was no point lying. He’d see through me eventually. “Lucian,” I began softly, “Alpha Michael kissed me.” I squealed. The silence that followed was deafening. Lucian’s eyes widened, his jaw tightening, fist clenching as though the words physically had an effect on him. “The Alpha did what?” He growled quietly. “It just… happened.” I shrugged. He stared at me for a long moment. His eyes glowed with rage. “Samara, have you completely lost your mind? He has a mate and you know that!”

“Alpha, I found out that Ryan finally has a weakness.” “Really? What is it?” The Alpha thought it might be something useless since Ryan had absolutely no weakness.” He closed his eyes back again, uninterested. “Ryan has finally met his Luna.” Blake told him. The Alpha’s eyes shot open. He turned his head to Blake. “Luna, you said?” he asked him. “Yes Alpha.” Blake replied. The black wolf grinned. “A great weakness indeed.” He got up and moved towards a pile of bones, “To a wolf, his mate is everything and since a wolf can only fall in love only once in their live time, they would do everything in their power to protect her.”

“You’re my mate, Juliet, not a damn one-night stand.” “Yeah, but not everybody knows that.” “They need to, you’re their Luna,” he mumbles, stepping out of his closet and pulling a t-shirt on over his head. He swipes a hand over his buzzed head, glancing in my direction to find me gaping at him. “What?” I swallow hard, shaking my head. “I can’t be Luna.” “What do you mean?” he asks with a laugh. “I’m Alpha, you’re my mate. Hate to break it to you, babe, but it kinda comes with the territory.”

“I am nothing like you and will never be anything like you.” This time, the smirk on the Alpha’s face turned into a large grin, showing his dentitions. “Oh, Natalie. You’re more than I can ever be. Look at you, alone in this lonely large world, with no family, no friends, no one to call your lover.” I backed away, painful tears filling my eyes. “Shut up, I have someone. I have my mate. I have a lover.” “Mate? Do you mean Alpha Maverick? A mate that isn’t and wouldn’t be yours? Let me get this straight, the same Alpha Maverick that’s head over heels for Rhaella, the Alpha of Alphas. The same person you tried to murder!”

Usually, her voice is firm -almost cold but now it was filled with excitement and reverence. “He’s here… he’s here. Our mate,” she whispered “He’s here at last!” My mate! I stood frozen, my mind reeling from this new information as the truth washed over me. Alpha Kai – the most feared and respected Alpha in our region – was my mate? The very man who had just thrown Lucas through a window and was ready to go after him, probably to finish him – was my mate? My true mate? It seemed impossible, yet the reaction of my body and my wolf left no room for doubt.

The finality in his tone left no room for doubt, cementing the reality of my situation in my mind. Alpha Mark had completely misinterpreted my intentions, believing I desired the Alphas as my mate. Summoning every ounce of courage, I felt compelled to articulate my feelings about the mating issue. “I don’t want to be the Alpha's mate; I simply want to live my life in the shadows, just as I always have,” I replied cautiously, ensuring my tone was measured and respectful so as not to provoke his anger.

He has mismatched blue eyes at the right and black eyes at the left; a complex glint flickered past his eyes when our eyes became four. In that minute, Alpha Oswald and I knew we were fated mates. Even without touching him, pleasurable sparks were running through me, and I'm sure he must have been feeling the same thing. 'He's my mate. He's our mate,' Maia's words kept on resounding in my head until I finally understood the precarious situation I was in and I froze immediately. It turns out that Alpha Oswald, the current Alpha of the biggest pack, is my mate, and not only that he already has his Luna!

"I don't know what you are talking about. Do you have evidence to support your claims? I am doing nothing, Beta Scott comes to me immediately saying that Alpha Arther wants me by his side. That is what Alpha Arther wants, not mine!" Cashia growls causing Lavinia to growl as well. "Stop pretending Lavinia. I know you're the one who did all of this. If you are that jealous, keep it to yourself! Alpha Arther is not yours anymore. It is Letitias! She is the Alpha's mate, not you." Lavinia gritted her teeth and wanted to attack Cashia but she couldn't when she felt the heavy presence of the King. "I am warning you."

We both turned abruptly to look at who had entered the room so quietly that we hadn't noticed. It was him. The man that had murdered my entire family, my pack and everyone and everything I knew. He was standing by the door in a dark blue suit, simply looking at me. "Ye.......yes Alpha. Please forgive me Mistress." The maid bowed slightly towards me. "I wish to help the Mistress into bed and feed her." The Alpha turned to look at me again. I stared right back at him. "Please get into bed Charlotte so she can.........." "I will not." I answered sharply. He seemed taken aback by my statement. At first I wasn't so sure but it seemed he was pleased at something, he was smiling.

In his wolf form he ran to were his mate was following the scent. He nudge her with his nose but she didn't move, he pulled with his paws but nothing happened, there was no movement. And just like that the alpha's mate died, her life coming to and end.
