The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Ruby looked at Hayley. "Back when I was in the Zion Ascetic Order, I came across something even more secretive, more powerful than us. That was Ascendant Creed. "Almost no one on the outside knows about them. They're a group of fanatics obsessed with what they call 'higher truth.' A theological cult, basically. They believe human life as it is now is too primitive, too weak to handle true evolution. They think higher civilizations come from outside Earth, and even the civilization we built is low-level. We're basically trash in their eyes."

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

she whispered. “My father’s history,” Alessandro replied. “This isn’t a Villa. It’s a shrine.” They finally reached the old iron gate. Beyond it lay the outer gardens and the promise of freedom. Alessandro knelt down to unlock it. Adrianna turned to him, her eyes wide with hope cutting through her fear like the first light of dawn. Then, they heard the sound of boots approaching. Alessandro sprang to his feet, positioning himself in front of her. “Stay behind me,” he urged. The torches lining the tunnel flickered to life. From the shadows emerged Giovanni—not angry, not surprised, but grinning.

, he stated head tipped back staring up at Zen and then down at them. Ash grinned and plopped his butt down in front of James, Red sat down next to him, Bell sat on her knees, and Ray and Zee pulled up adjoining chairs, whilst Jasmine sat down on the spare armchair opposite James. "To begin with Ascendants have existed for centuries. It's one of those well-kept secrets no one wanted to be associated with", James joked, licking his lower lip. "Every country has one ascendant born every seventeen years", he paused, "Eighteen years", he eyed Zen, "Rare but not impossible", he murmured, "Only seven of the strongest are chosen, those chosen negate the choice for others. If you hadn't chosen the g

“I haven’t heard about them for a decade.” Valentine nods slowly. “Neither have I.” I frown, crossing my arms. “Who the hell is ‘them’?” Achilles finally looks at me. “Vampire hunters.” I stiffen. “Like…?” He swallows. “The Ascendants.” My stomach drops. I may not know much about vampire politics, but that name alone carries a weight I don’t like. “Are they dangerous?” Valentine chuckles, dark and humorless. “Oh, little one.” He tilts his head, eyes gleaming. “Not even Mara’s wards can keep them out. You see, they’re human. And Mara’s wards don’t see humans as a threat.”

*This is why we survived. But Ravel's shout shatters the vision. "Kelly! Don't-!" She's too late. --- **The Communion** The throne's light floods me, fusing with the static. The Bastion's roots surge into my veins, its memories becoming mine. I see the garden's birth-a cosmic entity forged to nurture, twisted by mortal fear into the Bloom, the Seeds, the Hunger. Alaric kneels, tears in his eyes. "It's chosen you. The first **Ascendant**."

Rise After the Fall

Rise After the Fall

The atmosphere at the annual company gala was lively. On stage, the boss, Daniel Aster, spoke passionately, his face flushed with excitement. “This year, we secured eighty million dollars in core contracts, and that wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s hard work! “So this year, everyone’s year-end bonus will be doubled!” The room instantly erupted. “My fifty-thousand-dollar bonus just arrived! Thank you, Mr. Aster! Thank you, company!” Daniel’s niece, Veronica, was the first to raise her phone and scream.
