Briar Reef Murder Mystery

Briar Reef Murder Mystery

Out of the eleven six matched closely to hers, the only problem is that they were scattered around, and some, especially the first two, had been more than twenty years ago. But the MO was too similar to ignore. There were no real clues to point to a person of interest except for the last one, which had been three years ago. Then the detective had noticed the disappearance soon after of a lawyer who had befriended the victim not long before she was killed. HeÕd explained their association as business-related, but from notes left behind and things the victim had shared with her best friend, the detective had been more inclined to believe their relationship had been more personal.

The Alpha's Fight for His Omega

The Alpha's Fight for His Omega

He was going to be graduating a few months after Jessie, and I. I enjoyed getting to know so much about him. He was a nice guy, and seemed really good for Jessie. She was funny, and quirky, but not in the way Norm was. She was the queen of one liners, and could think of something on the spot. I was a little surprised to find out she enjoyed books about murder mysteries though. She said she liked trying to figure out who did it. Her favorite series was about a human woman who was a coroner. Not exactly my type of books, but I made note of the series to tell Rowen about it. He might like it.

Author has responded, this book is NOT continued on another app. I went back to try and find it on that app but it is now gone from my library. This IS the full book and is not continued elsewhere. Sorry that I misspoke. Loved this story & wish author had more books to enjoy.

My World Of Mystery

My World Of Mystery

I saw every group of friends talking to each other and giggling. Opening my locker, I put my extra books inside and only grabbed my notebooks with an assignment. As I was closing my locker, I heard three familiar voices pass by me. "You got A+ again in Math Brenia!" I heard Dania exclaim, as they approach their lockers. "And you fail again in your English literature? Care to explain Dania?" I heard Brenia reply as I peek at what they are doing.

Then there were his psychology books and books on wilderness craft. His gaze fell on a small cluster of volumes of English literature, some that Faith had convinced him to try. While he couldn't bring himself to read them, he hadn't been able to part with them, either. The top shelf held an extensive collection of contemporary bestsellers, and it was one of those he chose, a mystery thriller, as he heard the first roll of thunder. "Yep, Bear, it seems like a 'dark and stormy night' kind of night." He gave the dog a pat as he settled down in his chair.

"Thank you for bringing me into the investigation." She took his hand, the brief contact sending a jolt of familiarity through her—pack recognising pack, even after all these years. "Mr. Blackwood has expertise in historical ritualistic practices," she explained to Mendoza. "Given the nature of the killings, his insight could be valuable." "So I've been told," Mendoza replied, gesturing for everyone to sit. "Your brother's credentials are impressive, but I'm more concerned with why our killer seems to have a personal interest in your family."

And Then Came Love

And Then Came Love

Sabeerah brought them out one by one. Muslim Girl and If I Speak by Umm Zakiyyah, The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, Three Daughters Of Eve by Elif Shafak, On Black Sister's Street by Chika Unigwe, And Then There Was None by Agatha Christie, A Time To Kill by John Grisham and finally, A History Of The Wives Of Prophet Muhammad by Umam Kahn. She picked up the last book which was actually a journal and tucked in its side were plack pencils with bookish scribbles on them.

Lost Heir of the Pack

Lost Heir of the Pack

Maybe I can read something to pass the time and occupy my mind for a bit. 0 I read through their titles and they definitely have a favorite genre. ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’, ‘Murder on the Orient Express’, ‘The Woman in White’, ‘The Maltese Falcon’. I sense a mystery theme here and I wonder if it’s Stefan or his wife that’s the fan. I keep looking when I see a book that is quite out of place. ‘What To Expect: A Mother’s Guide To Her First Pup’ 0

The Murder Pal

Her shoulders trembled. The prosecutor continued. "Forensic analysis shows the child didn't die instantly. If he had received timely medical treatment, his survival rate would have exceeded 70 percent. It was the defendant who personally prevented rescue efforts and directly caused her son's death. "This was not negligence, and it wasn't an accident. It was a premeditated murder. She simply killed the wrong person." Esther's lawyer had no response. In the end, the judge brought down the gavel. Esther Lawson was found guilty of intentional homicide and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

IF THE TRUTH BE TOLD

IF THE TRUTH BE TOLD

She pressed. "That depends on your idea of a mystery," I said. "For a writer of murder mysteries, each new bizarre detail makes the plot more difficult to construct and adds to the sense of mystery. But for us working in the real world," I continued, " the ordinary and drab crime with no pattern that poses the greatest difficulties. The sensational, bizarre, and outrageous crimes that make the most popular stories are the easiest to solve. This case has been very odd from the start, Sandra," I added, "and new information never hurts. From the analytical perspective, Hector's visit simplifies our task." "Does it not make things more difficult for you as well?" Sandra asked.
