He smiles a little and walks toward me. But if you want to be Luna, you won’t say a thing about it. Keep in mind that most people can’t control their carnal urges.”

"You'll make me the laughingstock of every pack in the Empire! Do you think I'll stand by and accept this humiliation?" My voice broke, but my pride didn't. Diana's growl rumbled low and dangerous. "He has no idea what happens when a Luna is betrayed," she whispered. "He'll learn soon."

Author's POV. "That bitch! She's ruining everything, if those stupid rumors she's spreading keeps up, we'll lose a lot of allies, they think we'll betray them because we sold off our Luna, dammit!" Nicholas snarled angrily, flinging the tablet which shattered everywhere.

Nora thought as she smirked at the men. "You have five minutes more to say whatever you want to say and disappear from my sight before I destroy the five of you. And don't even think that I can't do it, after all, I'm no longer part of you people." Nora growled, snapping the disgusted expression off the men's faces. That's more like it, she silently nodded in content. "Luna, please, we have an important message and these men can't hear about it." The beta pleaded. "Just go ahead and say what you want to say, they won't hear you anyway." she placed her hand on her mouth and yawned lazily.

“Of course, I will investigate. Anybody who could pilfer money out of their Luna could destroy this pack.” The Luna. I had the words on the tip of my tongue that I was not the Luna, but I restrained myself. I was not and would never be the Luna of this pack. In fact, I could end up being a character who led the pack into the abyss.

"What do you want of me?" Luna removed her cloak, revealing her bare shoulders, her body painted with silver and crimson symbols—the marks of an Alpha invoking the Blood Moon Pact. "I want loyalty," she said. "But I don't want words. I want a bond." Toran tilted his head. "A bond?" "A Blood Moon Pact," Luna declared, her voice carrying across the courtyard. "Ancient and binding. Flesh to flesh. Power to power." Kael stepped forward, eyes flashing. "This pact binds you to us, Toran. Betray it, and you will die."
