Now I could barely move. “What… is happening to me…?” I whispered weakly. The world spun like the ground was turning. One last harsh hit slammed my back. My body rolled and rolled until it stopped facing the sky. My breath left me. My limbs gave up. Everything faded. Sounds turned distant. Voices became echoes. “She’s the one.” “Alpha wants her alive.” “Take the bike too.” “Move. Now.” Footsteps. Wolves breathing. My eyelids heavy. And then I heard it clearly, “Follow us with that bike.” Darkness swallowed me completely.

Bikers filled the track, lining up in rows with their colorful bikes. First round, second round, third round. I couldn't be less proud as the Despaci's bikers won against the rest of the bikers. The fourth round was with the Second Dawn Motorcycle club which is Asher's. For some moments, I doubted them. But it surprised me to see that at the end of the race, they won. Elara yelled, screaming with her face lit up in joy as she waved her hands in the air. I also smiled, a blush creeping up my face. Another achievement for Despaci's club, and I couldn't hide the happiness I felt. I'm so glad they made it.

Lines of code, bright against the dark. The first bike jolted, then veered sharply, the rider screaming as he flipped over the handlebars and slammed into the asphalt. Another followed, then another, dropping like dominoes. “What the—” My voice cracked. One by one, every biker convulsed, lost control, their machines swerving wildly before exploding into fire or skidding across the road. The smell of burning gasoline filled the air, the sound of shattering bones mixing with the scrape of metal.

Four bikers lost control of their bikes and crashed violently on the road while the remaining ten swerved out of the way and broke the circle. I picked another curved blade and before I could hurl it, I felt my orgasm reared its head. I gritted my teeth as Xena squeezed my balls lightly as a warning. “Fuck,” I muttered and managed to keep the Humvee on the road. Even with our lives on the line, I found it difficult to concentrate on defending us. Biker zoomed closer to my wind and tried to reach the inside. Another foolish mistake. Xena giving me head was the last thing he was going to see.

The fourth biker says nothing. He is smaller than the others. He is covered in tattoos. And he has a gun. He points his pistol at Jim. I don't want Jim to die. Jim turns to face me, his eyes wide. "Run!" he says. "It's okay. I can take care of myself." I roll my eyes. "No you can't, human," I say. He looks so bemused. But he's going to look even more so in a second when I shift. Somebody else emerges from behind the wall of bikers.

I still have no idea what caused the decapitation, though. Trained warriors, the Marine’s shake off their shock quicker than the bikers and let loose a deafening fusillade of automatic rifle fire. The bikers don’t stand a chance. Their bodies jerk and dance as the bullets tear into them. Before even one can get off a shot, they’re all lying dead in the street, their corpses tangled up with one another and with their still idling motorcycles. I almost feel sorry for them, until I remember the human skulls adorning some of the handlebars. The world is a better place without this gang, I know.

I said I kept my eyes on the road and nearly pushed the other driver trying to overpower me off the road and the car somersaulted twice. I kept moving very fast regardless of what I have done and for a quick moment, I thought everything had ended until I saw a biker shoot Mika's boyfriend in the head, fear gripped me as the young man dropped dead with blood all over my face. It was like a movie as I watched and felt so dumbfounded by what happened, the biker pointed the gun at me next and for some seconds, I wondered how the biker caught up to us despite my speed.

No one answered. Kade’s patience snapped slightly. “Enough.” The single word carried weight. Authority. The others backed off immediately, disappearing again like they had never been there. That told me everything I needed to know about his position here. I looked at him slowly. “You’re not just some biker,” I said. “No.” “What are you, then?” He held my gaze. “Someone who kept you alive longer than they planned.” My breath caught. “They?” I repeated. Kade didn’t answer immediately.

Before they could realize what is happening, almost all of the bikers are dead. Just then, the lights came back on. Now the mansion is snatched away from the bikers who invaded it. "Ey, did you kill that asshole?" one of the bikers yelled from downstairs, unknown of the situation on the top floor. Nero and Reed casually leaned over the railing and gave the biker a sinister smile. "That asshole is our friend. Only we get to kill him. Idiots like you shouldn't even think about hurting him" Nero muttered before shooting that biker mercilessly.

The riders all got off their bikes and the few that wore helmets quickly pulled them off. "Why the fuck are we here? What could any of you possibly want?" Shooter, ever the hothead spat at us as they lined up to face us. I glanced over the men that had come. Uncles and cousins along with my brothers, my father and Margo's father and brother and a few others. Viper seemed to stare at Margo for a moment but then quickly focused on me. Bear did the same thing. Shooter glared at Nat but then followed suit and looked at me. Most of the group ended up staring at me. What was that about? I glanced over at Joker who just shrugged at me and then gestured for me to speak.
