“You look like someone just told you adulthood costs extra.” I huffed a laugh. “Thesis moved forward,” I admitted quietly. He winced. “Ouch.” “Yeah.” He just graduated from art school too but he majored in sculpting, he knew exactly how I was feeling. He whistled low. “That’s savage.” “Apparently he or she is… intense.” “Intense how?” “Withdraws mid-session if he’s bored.” Marcus blinked in shock. “That’s villain behavior.” I forced a smile. “Exactly.”

Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side. To my shock, the passenger door opened and a girl came out. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop. I couldn’t help but wonder who she was and why Blade had decided to bring her along. They both shared words before walking towards the coffee shop. “Emily!” Blade called as he walked inside with his companion right behind him. “I’m right here,” I said waving my hands in the air to draw his attention.

Zach said in a stern voice, Blaze choose his best friend to be his beta because he has the qualities to be one even though his cousin wanted so badly to be a beta he decided to be the Zeta which is the generals of their army.

She spotted Beta Declan by the pool table and approached, hooking his keys out of her back pocket as she stepped down into the room. "I take it my car is still in one piece, Sapphira?" He asked, a slight glimmer in his eye as he chalked his cue. "Yes, Beta. Thank you." She blushed, feeling several eyes turn on her as she dipped her head and handed him the keys. "I think this is the first time I've seen you in here." Gamma Brandon smirked, taking a swig from his drink. "Not one for social gatherings, Sapphira?" The Gamma's mate, Hunter, winked.
