The Roommate

The Roommate

"Who's this?" The little red head dipped under his chin, and reached up to smack his arm with vengeance. It was cute, that she thought she was scary, and he simply waited for her to introduce him. Curious what she would say. "This is Jackson, he's our new roommate, Randy invited him." She said it simply, and Jackson felt oddly disappointed. Well, that was lame. He always liked a little spice. Leaning his elbows down over her chair, with arms cradled innocently on either side of her silky strands, he cooed. "Don't let the princess fool you, I'm also her very, very, best friend. Why, we're almost inseparable now."

This book is so captivating ! It truly captures the realism of emotional/psychological abuse, complications of the heart, friendship, and how everyone has their side to a story/not everything being as it seems! I enjoyed the twists and turns that it took me on!

Wow! This was really an amazing book. It's definitely a page turner. It was also unique compared to so many love stories out there. The topics of narcism & gaslighting are important along with mental health. This book could be so much better with proper editing and proofreading. Vocabulary was good.

The Roommate Boss

The Roommate Boss

"Not really, only five places, including this apartment! this apartment is by far the best!" "Is that so? earlier, the man said there was an empty apartment with three bedrooms. If you don't mind, how about we share a room?" "What? share a room? with you?" ***

The Roommate Game

The Roommate Game

She was the one with the real problem! I thought that since we were roommates and it was only the first semester, there was no need to sour things between us. Nonetheless, my genuine kindness had only made Rachel feel entitled to take advantage of me.

Fighting Love (Fighting For Love 3)

Fighting Love (Fighting For Love 3)

Mitch glanced down at his dinner. “You made this, Reena? Even the sauce?” “Yep.” She took a sip of red wine. “It’s not complicated.” “It’s amazing.” “Thanks.” “So.” Mitch picked up his wine glass. “Our Big Three Compromises?” She brushed her hair back. “Yep. The most invaluable part of any roommate relationship, I swear.” “OK. Shoot.” “When two people live together, there are always things about the other person that drive them crazy.” Yeah. Like long blonde hair, perfect pink lips and sky-blue eyes. Just a few things that drive me crazy about you, Reena.

Treacherous

Treacherous

I chuckled, “I tend to learn about people around me really fast so don’t think it’s something I notice only in my husband. You might as well be my roommate and I’d still act the same way.” An amused smile took to his face, “So, that’s what I am now? Your roommate?” “Well, let me see. We share the same house but different rooms. We mind our own business, split chores and clean up after ourselves. That’s exactly what roommates do.” She said, a dazzling smile still dancing across her face. “Really?” He smirked, “Do roommates also make out with each other?” My smile vanished instantly, and instead, red had taken over my face.

My Roommate Is Rich

My Roommate Is Rich

Tatiana was alarmed to see me. Tahlia had not assigned me any tasks, so I switched to polite mode. “Hello, Tatiana,” I said sweetly with a little curtsy. I could see her face slowly twist, and she seemed angry. “Fake! You’re so fake! Urgh!” “Tatiana, what are you talking about?” An elderly lady with a cane appeared from behind her. She squinted at me and pulled out her reading glasses. “And who is this?” “Grandma, this is my friend, Yvonne Zane. I switched dorms, and she’s my new roommate.”

The Heaven Hill Generations Series

The Heaven Hill Generations Series

"Why do you say that?" A flash of unease filters across her eyes. "My best friend and roommate, Tatum? She's totally in love with the guy she's seeing. I mean they are the perfect couple. I have a feeling she's going to move in with him soon. So that means I'll need to either get a one-bedroom or find another roommate. My parents help me pay my portion of the rent, but I can't ask them to pay a whole other person's, ya know?" "Why do you seem so sad about that?" The melancholy is reverberating off her in waves.

SHADOW OF THE PAST: THE CURSED ALPHA

SHADOW OF THE PAST: THE CURSED ALPHA

“What could the situation be?” “You needed a roommate right?”. He asked. “But if I never asked for a male roommate”. I replied. “Yeah, I know but we couldn't get a female roommate and he was willing to buy the apartment from us but we considered you and pleaded that he should share the apartment with you. You only need to share the living room, and the kitchen with him”. “What's really going on here? You brought in a male to the apartment because he was willing to pay double? Did you even think about my safety first before allowing this to happen? Oh I forgot, my safety doesn't matter as long as he pays right?”. I asked in anger.

The Unexpected Roomate

The Unexpected Roomate

One is about trauma recovery, and the other is about modern relationships. "That is incredible!" "Why do you seem nervous?" "Because the advance is sufficient for me to finance my own place. A proper location, not just half of someone else's residence." The stillness that followed was full of implications. They'd never officially discussed their living situation other than the immediate need to share space and expenses. Everything had progressed naturally…….from roommates to friends to lovers to partners……..but they had never expressly planned what would happen next. "Do you want your own place?" Max asked quietly.

The Quarterback's Roommate

The Quarterback's Roommate

“My parents always do this big, chaotic thing. Food everywhere, Christmas movies on repeat, cousins running around like feral animals, aunts arguing over board games. It’s loud. It’s messy. It’s… nice. You’d fit right in.” I stared at him. He hurried on, words tumbling faster. “I mean—not as, like—not as my boyfriend or anything. Just… as a friend. Roommate. Someone who doesn’t want to spend the holidays eating takeout alone in an empty off-campus apartment while the heat’s set to sixty to save money.” The word *boyfriend* hung between us anyway, bright and unignorable, even though we’d both been careful not to say it out loud yet. My throat tightened.
