Power is always associated with trouble. Sometimes it is great enough to save us from trouble, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes it is so great that trouble can't get close and sometimes its greatness is the reason why trouble comes. Sometimes it's not about how you use it, sometimes it's about the power itself. The mere existence of a certain power could stir up fear, awe, hatred and envy depending on who percieved it and how they do. "My power is supposed to kind that helps me escape trouble" Victor said to himself as he drove through an empty road with nothing but desert on both sides.

Lotus said that this book contained every witch practice and all kinds of power that is almost impossible to handle. “Grandma, this is a precious book, please I don't deserve it". I said in a modest way but honestly, I wanted the book. “I am really old now and I want to make sure that this book is in the rightful hands before I die. I must tell you that this book is not to be misused. It contains powerful magic words that can destroy things and also amend things as well and I know that you won't misuse the power. Just keep it safe with you and use it when necessary”.

The realization struck me like a physical blow – this book, revered for its enchantments, was a weapon of unimaginable destruction. I traced the words with trembling fingers, grappling with the enormity of the responsibility that rested on my shoulders. The book wasn't a mere collection of charming spells; it was a compendium of power capable of unraveling destinies. The weight of its potential for chaos settled heavily upon me.

Things that were true and real and sitting just beneath the surface of the professional distance I maintained between us. I didn't say them. Not yet. "You read the negotiation book," I said instead. He looked at me. "First thing I pulled off your shelf," he said. "Why that one," I said. He considered it for a moment. "Because the title told me it was about power," he said. When he turned back into human, he was standing in the middle of the woods, staring up at the night sky, his legs shaking, his vision blurred with fear and hate. The book was gone. It was gone, lost to the annals of history. The book was taken away. The only copy that existed in the world. And yet, it was still here. In front of him, within reach. The alpha was frozen, completely speechless, his mind blank as his thoughts drifted back to that terrible night in the library when the words 'The Book of Power' had appeared before his very eyes. It was a simple mistake." Alax said in a soothing voice. Even with all the evidence he seemed oblivious to what King Alexander and Zavier most likely knew. "It wasn't a simple mistake." King Alexander snapped out. A bang against the table had me jumping back. King Alexander didn't even pay me any mind as he opened up the book that only I could read. I watched as he quickly turned the pages until he landed on the page that gave the ultimate power.

The secretary looked at Ken in hesitation, and he was unsure about what to say. “What are you talking about? Just say it!” Ken was unhappy. “Say what? Is it because you realized that you can’t handle it?” someone mocked them. “Could they be actually powerful?" Ken asked. ‘There’s no way! If they're really influential, how would I not know about them at all?’ “No, they are actually insignificant. It might be a little embarrassing for you if you want to settle scores with them. They have a company worth tens of millions and someone who works in the government. They only have a little power,” the secretary explained awkwardly.

"But why were they after the book?. Because it's a power book?" Rachel smiled. She loved the curiosity in the faces of the kids. The way they followed every bit of what she was saying and how they asked questions when confused. She was ready to answer every question they were willing to ask. She continued. "You see kids. The book wasn't just a powerful one. But history has it that there was a secret written in the book that has not been unfolded. And whosoever finds that secret, will become the greatest of all. I removed the USB and scrubbed my footprints on the laptop, left where I improved the marketing and closed it. Ideas stabbed my insides again as I walked out of the office. Everything stemed down to money and power. I walked out of the office. Power is madness. The moment you taste it, you won’t be able to taste anything else. When it seeps under your skin and flows in your blood, it turns to poison. The best way to snatch power is by exploiting the human mind. People are simple. Make them crave something. Give them what they crave. Then snatch it from between their fingertips. I'll snatch the power and get what's mine.
