The Mafia Protocol

The Mafia Protocol

Hours passed. Then Riccardo paused, pulling a red-bound ledger from the bottom of a shelf. “Camilla,” he said slowly. “You should see this.” She crossed the room, eyes scanning the pages. Her father’s familiar, angular handwriting filled the margins with notes, coordinates, and timestamps. But one phrase was repeated again and again: “Ashes rebirth the world.” “He knew,” she whispered. “He always knew he wouldn’t live long enough to stop them. So he left the match behind.”

THE ALPHA KING'S MAID

THE ALPHA KING'S MAID

As if someone had added marginal notes to an original text. “Silas,” I called. “These markings on the columns. Are they from the same period as the altar?” He came over, looked, frowned. “No. They’re later. Centuries later, I’d say. Someone came here after the altar was built and added information. Like… annotations. Reference notes.” “For whom?” “For whoever could read them, I suppose.” The obvious answer was: for someone fluent in the Dark Tongue. And according to everything we knew, the only beings who used it naturally were demons.

CROWNLESS AT GREYWATCH ACADEMY

CROWNLESS AT GREYWATCH ACADEMY

And scattered throughout, in watchful, deliberate handwriting that didn't match the rest of the ledger's entries, small annotations that read less like historical record and more like guilt. The Castellan line bears responsibility beyond what council record acknowledges. Marlowe stared at the line for a long moment, her pulse picking up. Whoever had written that note had done so in secret, in the margins, in handwriting careful enough to avoid detection but deliberate enough to survive two centuries. "You came back," a voice said from the alcove's entrance, and Marlowe's heart lurched before she recognized Talia's familiar silhouette. "Figured you might be doing something reckless."

THE CURSED NECKLACE

THE CURSED NECKLACE

The cottage was quiet. For the first time in what felt like forever, Elena wasn't running. Not from the estate. Not from Francesco. Not from the necklace. Not even from grief. Rain tapped softly against the windows while a small fire crackled in the hearth. Across from her, Roberto's mother sat calmly in a wooden chair. A book rested on her lap. Ancient. Worn. Its pages filled with symbols Elena couldn't understand. "You are forcing it." Elena frowned.

Once His Wallflower, Now His Biggest Mistake

Once His Wallflower, Now His Biggest Mistake

Chapter 70 Caleb's POV The Andalusian night pressed against the villa like a lover too impatient to wait. Heat lingered in every stone, every shadowed corner, turning the air inside the walk-in pantry into something thick, almost drinkable. I was reaching for the jar of Marcona almonds when the voice slithered through the darkness behind me. “You move like sex, Antonella. Slow. Deliberate. Every roll of those hips is begging someone to grab them and fuck the rhythm right out of you.”

Rejected Crown: Perpetual Twilight

Rejected Crown: Perpetual Twilight

(Salvatore's POV) It’s been days since I tasted a drop of fresh blood. I locked myself in my room, so I could read the ancient book I came across by accident in peace. The flickering candlelight casts eerie shadows on the ancient parchment, making the cryptic script dance across the paper. I lean closer, the musty scent of old paper filling my nostrils as I frantically try to decipher the hidden meaning within the pages. “Could this be?” I murmur, my hand shaking slightly as I trace a finger along a passage of text.

The mafia’s captive

At the proof of everything they’d built: brotherhood, legacy, protection. He whispered, “We’re not doing this alone.” Corsican Catacombs – Later That Night The crypt was darker than usual. Petrov leaned back on a stone throne, his boots planted wide. Sokolov lit a cigar with a cursed match that hissed before catching fire. Vulture paced in small circles, journal in hand, black sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Malthea stood over a steaming cauldron of pitch-black ink, whispering. Petrov exhaled smoke.

The Lord Of Chaos: A Forced Marriage

The Lord Of Chaos: A Forced Marriage

Antonella greeted, the word slipping out with a sweetness that claimed what had been promised to her without raising her voice. “In your dreams, maybe—and even then, only if I were drugged, tied up, and out of options,” Vincenzo shot back, his smile cynical and brazen. Antonella let out a soft, dangerously captivating laugh, the kind of sound that seduced and warned in equal measure, as ambiguous as her very presence. Vincenzo cast a glance around, taking in every detail without betraying the slightest hint of interest. His eyes swept the crypt with calm, lingering briefly on Enzo and Cesare, who were muttering in a corner, hunched together like two poorly disguised conspirators.

“ I came here to inform you on grandfather’s orders . I didn’t come alone though . I came with me fiancé . He is waiting for me . “ said Annette , pointing at the end of the corridor . Annette walked ahead , leaving Antonio in the corridor . The dark lights in the corridor made Antonio remember his past . Especially when seeing that at the end of that corridor filled with darkness , was standing Axel . ‘ ……….Every path that I take down these corridors makes me feel empty . I have neve read BL before but when seeing your name on it, I think I wanna give it a shot. So far from the read, I quite like it. I think I may enjoy it. I am a loyal fan of your books. They are great. I am stuck on another novel of yours on another platform but seeing the new story I rushed back.
PickledNut
this story has given me some crackup moments so far that's for reals lol. At first it was kinda hard for me to continue reading, but now I want to know the outcome/end game. Please don't drag it out too much writer, was kind of hard with a few repeated chapters to keep the story line.

Just for two weeks

Trembling, she began to dial. Downstairs, Amorth laid the stone tablet on the altar and turned his eager hands to the leather Bible. His long white fingers were sweating now as he turned the pages. Flipping through the old testament, he ran his his finger down the column text of job thirty-eight, eleven. He read the text. It was only seven words. Confused, he read it again, sensing something had gone terribly wrong. Security warden Pablo Diez simmered with rage as he stood over his prostrate captive in front of the Mona Lisa. Thinking that Jim killed Marquis Esquibel, he had been like a well-loved father to Pablo and his security team.
