His Little Ruin
He stopped right at the front entrance, killing the engine but leaving the headlights on, cutting two bright paths into the darkness.
In the dim glow of the dashboard, his features looked like they were carved from shadow.
“A boyfriend,” he repeated, the word sounding like a curse in his low, husky Italian accent. “He thinks he has a claim to you because he’s in your head and he’s sharing your secret.”
Vito leaned over, his hand sliding higher up her thigh, pulling her attention sharply back to him.
