THE FIRST

THE FIRST

Rage bubbled within me, but Adam's warning glance held me back. "Don't, Damon," he murmured. But Father wanted a fight. "Let him," he sneered. "Show us what you truly are, devil. Prove to your brothers what I've always known-you're not one of us." --- I lost control. My growl rumbled deep in my chest as I threw the first punch, but he caught it effortlessly. With inhuman strength, he tossed me out the door. I hit the ground hard, and the wolf within me surged to the surface. My bones cracked, reshaping as my eyes burned with blood-red light, surrounded by a ring of obsidian black.

"Oh, yes. They are! And if you aren't a good boy and trouble mama's handmaid too much, a werewolf will be sent to steal you into the deep dark forest at night." The little boy burst into tears, sobbing loudly. "Who was the first werewolf?" The Prince's nephew, Evan, asked. "King Lycaon of Arcadia. He was cursed by Zeus." "Why?" "So one day, Zeus was bored of hiking up and down Mount Olympus. So he paid Arcadia a visit. He was like, 'Hey! Just checking in, what's up? I am the divine almighty here and y'all need to respect me.' The king and his fifty sons wondered, 'What the hell is he doing here?' 'Is he really Zeus?' 'I don't think Zeus has any power, he just shows off' 'We should get rid of

The First of Her Kind

The First of Her Kind

“And since we are all gathered here, there are some affairs that I’d like to set in order. My first being… to officially invoke the Law of Refuge.” The crowd gasped, the air thick with whispers and shock at Amani’s bold declaration. “The Law of Refuge does not apply to you!” The King spat. “Oh, but it does,” Amani retorted, a confident smile playing on her lips. “Prime Alpha, correct me if I’m mistaken, but doesn’t the Law of Refuge explicitly state that any surviving Alpha of an invasion, who has yet to reach the age of maturity, be entitled to reparations?” “That is correct,” the Prime Alpha replied, a note of reluctance in his voice.

The First Chosen Alpha (Prequel)

The First Chosen Alpha (Prequel)

My heart quickened as I reached out to touch it, a strange anticipation coursing through me. As my fingers brushed against the smooth surface of the envelope, a jolt of energy surged through me, sending a shiver down my spine. In that instant, the world around me seemed to blur, fading away until all that remained was a vision of a white wolf, stark against the backdrop of falling snow. The image was hauntingly familiar, stirring something deep within me that I couldn't quite place. I watched transfixed as the wolf stood against the backdrop of a snowy mountain, its blue eyes burning with an intensity that seemed to pierce through my soul.

Laws Of The Wolf {Book 2}

Save us and our future. The world we lived in was ruled by wolf laws, and they said that there was no enemy that could not be overwhelmed. And the question was not even how much time Grisha had, but how much time I had to do it.

The Law And The Liar

The Law And The Liar

I didn’t sleep. Not because Raffaele Moretti was sitting in my living room, legs stretched out like he owned the place—or maybe like he was trying not to look too ready to kill someone. And not because I had just learned that Marcus Vento, my brother’s old partner, was framing Raffaele to distract from his own sins. No, I didn’t sleep because the whole world felt like it had tilted. The law—the thing I built my life on—suddenly felt like a crooked ladder. And the only hand reaching out to pull me up belonged to a man who probably broke more laws before breakfast than I had in my whole career.

The Ninth Cipher

The dark Adrian answered quietly. "The First Author was never destroyed." "He was sealed." Silence. The White Book suddenly opened. Its pages turned rapidly before stopping on a page that had never appeared before. There was no writing. Only a drawing. A single figure sitting alone before an endless sea of blank pages. Its face had been scratched away. Beneath the drawing... one sentence slowly formed. He imprisoned himself to protect the freedom of every story. The First Reader whispered, "So it was true..." The ground shook violently.

Muhammad nodded and Jackson said, “I wish I could accompany you to the forensic garage but I’ve an important meeting to attend.” Jackson brought out his cell phone and dialed a number. When the receiver at the other end picked up, he said, “I’ve the lead officer on the case of The First One on his way to the forensic garage to examine the car of the first victim. Please help him out in any way possible when he arrives.” Jackson ended the call and said, “They’re expecting you Muhammad but don’t expect them to like you.” Muhammad smiled before he replied, “In my line of work, I get to make more enemies than friends because one thing people despise more than the truth, is the law and his discip

RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE EX-HUSBAND CHASED ME BACK

But this… this was about sustainable narrative ecology. Together, Lina and I began to weave these gentle laws into the substrate of reality. The "Law of unintended Consequences," to ensure choices had weight. The "Principle of Hope," a faint, persistent light in the darkest tragedies. The "Rule of the Punchline," ensuring that even in the most absurd realities, chaos eventually yielded to a moment of recognition, if not resolution. We weren't writing stories anymore. We were writing the physics of storytelling. "You know," Lina mused as we established the "First Law of Interesting Characters" (no one is purely anything), "for a woman who just wanted a quiet garden, you’ve become a terrifying
