Forbidden: Fated To My Step Son

Forbidden: Fated To My Step Son

Maybe both. The shard seared my palm, but I couldn’t let go. I wasn’t sure I even had a body anymore. I was just a soul pulled across a thousand years of memory. I saw the First Alpha, born of moonlight and blood, carving the laws of the packs into the earth with a howl that shook the sky. I saw betrayals—power ripped from spirit, cursed blood buried beneath mountains, families broken into packs to control what could no longer be contained. And then I saw her.

His First Kill, My Second Life

His First Kill, My Second Life

“Cora, that’s a death sentence! She’d lose the pack’s protection. She’d be hunted and torn apart by other rogues or rival packs!” “But the law is the law!” Cora sobbed, clutching Aiden’s arm. “Aiden, are you really going to let one treacherous woman undermine the very foundation of our laws?” All eyes turned to Aiden. Just then, the conference room door creaked open. Rhys was leaning against the frame, letting out a lazy yawn. His voice wasn't loud, but it carried clearly into the room. “Not even his Luna for a full day, and you’re already quoting ancient laws to have someone killed? You want to be a queen, but you can’t even speak the Old Tongue?”

His Shackled Lawyer

His Shackled Lawyer

"Anirudh must be happy. After all, a lot of money he would be able to save after getting such a great expensive lawyer in his house to fight his upcoming cases." Anirudh was completely awestruck hearing that statement from Rohini while being in Paris. He knew Suhani is a sharp knife, Rohini is an Insas Rifle. If Suhani would slice someone's throat swiftly, Rohini wouldn't mind just blowing the head of the person without uttering a single word. He chose to be a silent listener because he knew he brought these on him. Falling in love with a Criminal Lawyer was seriously courageous work and getting a savage biker sister-in-law was the cherry on the top.

I said, “I need you to understand something.” He nodded slightly. “Go ahead.” “I’m your lawyer,” I said. “Not your babysitter. I’m not here to make you feel comfortable. I’m here to keep you alive in the legal system. And the legal system is not kind to coordinated stories.” Kane’s eyes narrowed. “Coordinated.” “Yes,” I said, tapping my pen again. “Because either you’re all telling the same story naturally, which would be a miracle, or you’re all telling the same story because someone told you to.”

The First One

The First One

I squint my eyes, trying to get a better view of the clip. “Really? That’s all you can say…” Alexia scolds. “First, could you get your phone off my face” I sounded a little too rude, and that wasn’t like me. Alexia didn’t look too happy about the way I replied to her, because the nasty frown on her face said it all. Then we heard murmuring from the herd of junior years that surrounded us, I wasn’t really interested in what they were saying, so I didn’t border listening, but I think Alexia and Lisa heard them because they look like growling lionesses.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

Jack had learned to distrust any sentence that began with first. First contract. First receipt. First judgment. First heir. The word first was how old systems dressed violence as tradition. In the press room, every phone, camera, and emergency light turned toward him. Not physically at first. Then physically. The devices rotated in tiny, unnatural increments until their lenses found Jack's face. The witnesses noticed. Dana Ruiz whispered, "Mr. Miller?" Jack did not answer immediately. The red name pulsed across the screens.

One Second to Justice

One Second to Justice

"Mr. Lancer, you really outdid yourself this time! That major telecom fraud ring you led the takedown on? The victims' families showed up at the bureau today with a banner of appreciation. They hung it right at the entrance!" His laughter boomed through the phone. "What does it say?" "Guardian of the People. Nemesis of Criminals." I smiled faintly and ended the call. Looking up at the bright surgical light, I muttered quietly, "You used regulations as weapons to hurt the innocent, but I enforce the law to protect the people." I closed my eyes and sat there quietly, guarding my daughter inside that operating room, and guarding the city I love.

LAWS OF THE WOLF

LAWS OF THE WOLF

- You know, Kira, - the wolfhound rubbed his shoulder sullenly, - it starts to seem to me that you like to beat me. - It starts to seem to me that you like it when you are beaten! - I snapped, having lost all desire with him, not only to talk, but also to go somewhere. - If I tell you that I have a present for you, will you stop being angry? "Only if it's Kohan's head," I replied. - Alas, this is not a head, - Grisha reached into his pocket, - but only a means for separating it from the body. This,” he explained, showing me a folding knife, judging by its appearance as old as the wolfhound itself, “is my very first weapon.

The First of Her Kind

The First of Her Kind

“And since we are all gathered here, there are some affairs that I’d like to set in order. My first being… to officially invoke the Law of Refuge.” The crowd gasped, the air thick with whispers and shock at Amani’s bold declaration. “The Law of Refuge does not apply to you!” The King spat. “Oh, but it does,” Amani retorted, a confident smile playing on her lips. “Prime Alpha, correct me if I’m mistaken, but doesn’t the Law of Refuge explicitly state that any surviving Alpha of an invasion, who has yet to reach the age of maturity, be entitled to reparations?” “That is correct,” the Prime Alpha replied, a note of reluctance in his voice.

I don’t leave reviews often but when I do it is because an author has done an exceptional job at writing a story that draws you in. This story is one of the best I’ve read on this forum from plot to character development, this story although part of a werewolf trope stands out among the rest!

This is a really beautiful book: very well written with a great plot. The descriptions are intricate & characters complex and loveable. This book deserves to be a paperback! It’s so pleasant to enjoy a gripping story with no grammar or syntactic issues. My favourite book on this platform so far!

Framed Before the First Cut

Framed Before the First Cut

The violent tugging sent waves of pain through my right leg. The surrounding family members surged forward, completely out of control. Shoving, cursing, and accusations came one after another. "Killer doctor!" "Does your conscience not hurt after killing someone?" "You have to pay with your life!" With my right leg broken, I had no ability to fight back. I could only grip the wheelchair tightly, endure the pain and humiliation, and try to explain. But again and again, my words were drowned out by the furious shouts. "It was not me! I had nothing to do with this surgery. I never participated in the resuscitation!"
