I did my best to hide my guilt as I lied to him. Diverting my gaze, I took another bite of my pastry and hoped he didn’t recognize me. Even with my appearance change, I shouldn’t put it past him to recognize me from my facial structure. I looked to Eclipse and Silica for help but noticed they had moved to a different table to help themselves with the array of snacks. “I just feel as if there is something familiar about you.” Zydan spoke. I suppose now could be the time I tell him the truth. Taking a deep breath, I slowly exhaled as I turned toward him. Placing the partially eaten pastry on the table, I opened my mouth to tell him I was Lia.

"You aren't lying?" Lia looked at Chris with a dramatic expression as if to ask how he thought about he like that. Chris was defeated in the end. "Then Aster did a good job. I didn't think he would get involved in such matters. He is a good guy." Lia nodded. "Okay, I will leave now. Sleep well." Lia nodded and yawned in a reply. The moment she closed the door, she searched for her phone. That guy would definitely ask Aster. What if Aster blurted another lie or the truth by mistake? They had to get their stories straight.
