THE LUNA HE NEVER TRULY KNEW

THE LUNA HE NEVER TRULY KNEW

Marcus frowned, the expression deepening the lines across his forehead, lines that had not been there a year ago, lines that spoke of sleepless nights and impossible choices and the slow, grinding erosion of certainty. "What is this?" he asked, and even to his own ears, his voice sounded different—smaller, younger, more vulnerable than he had allowed himself to be in decades. Elder Hale answered in a low voice that seemed to come not from his throat but from the stones themselves, from the archive, from the very foundation of the world they stood upon. "A forgotten order." A pause, heavy with the weight of centuries. "One that existed long before the current Alpha Kings. One that existed bef

She Remembers Everyone's Order, Except Mine

She Remembers Everyone's Order, Except Mine

Daryl insisted that he hadn't done it on purpose and said that if she, as my girlfriend, could forget that I was allergic to peaches, then he, as an outsider, was even more likely to forget. However, Bridget traced the peach mille-feuille cake back to the shop and asked the owner about the order. The bakery owner then told Bridget that he still remembered the peach mille-feuille because it was a custom order. The shop usually sold them in chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla flavors, but Daryl had asked for peach as a custom order. He'd even told the owner not to remove the fuzz from the peaches and just load the mille-feuille with the unrinsed, cut fruits.

A Order

A Order

The woman hurried to sign for the package, and I slipped toward the exit. By the time she turned around, I was already standing outside. “Ma’am, I can’t complete this order today. I’ll file an incident report with the app. If you really need pet care, please place a new order with clear details.” I left immediately. At the time, I thought it was just a weird mix-up. I had no idea that from the moment I stepped into that mansion, I was already being targeted.

I Died on My Order of the Night

I Died on My Order of the Night

At Olivia’s words, the three of them finally shifted their attention away from her and remembered me. My father frowned instinctively. “Don’t worry about her. She just wants everyone focused on her. When will she finally grow up?” A flash of irritation crossed my mother’s face. “It’s just an Order of the Night. They give it out every three years.” “Doesn’t she know Olivia’s Commencement only happens once? Why does she have to throw a tantrum on a day like this?” Olivia puckered her lips playfully at my mother. “Mom, don’t say that. Bella would be hurt if she heard it.”

Under Orders

Elias left the office with his awareness humming low and steady, the system rearranging itself around him in subtle ways. He understood now that fracture did not always announce itself as chaos. Sometimes, it arrived as order, claimed by the wrong hands.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

For the first time— the True King looked serious. Actually serious. Then the red sky split open. A gigantic portal appeared. Larger than any before. Larger than the Citadel itself. Then something emerged. Not a monster. Not a Devourer. A person. A giant. Thousands of feet tall. Covered in crimson armor. Eyes burning like stars. Then Henry whispered: "No." Pause. Then: "That's a First One." The world stopped. Immediately. Because until now— they had only heard stories.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Behind The Mask

Behind The Mask

Slowly, carefully, I began to translate the first page, the lullaby whispering through my mind. Minutes passed. Then hours. Until finally, the words began to take shape. When I reached the end of the first page, I froze. It wasn’t just a page. It was a record, the record of their meeting. Names, dates, locations, all of it detailed meticulously. The list of attendees. My heart stopped. I reread it once, twice, before the shock cracked into a sharp, breathless scream, half disbelief, half triumph. I’d done it. I’d unlocked the first secret of the Order. I grabbed my burner phone and dialed Raina. My voice cracked with adrenaline.
