The president waved at all of them and people were swooning and fainting. The man turned his long jacket turning with him and making his way into the building. The door closed with a loud BANG. “Is that it?” she asked. “Well they won’t show us the meeting if that is what you’re asking” Kieran replied. “Then what do we do now?” Danny asked. “We can try out that new game they made just for today” Clara said. “What is it about?” Danny asked. “A game skilled Tempans made just for the summit. You get transported into the game and fight against any leader of your choice”.

As the game progressed, the atmosphere in the room became increasingly intense, each player eyeing their opponents suspiciously and silently sizing them up. Abel, a seasoned poker player who had been in the game for years, had a noticeably calm demeanour, expertly concealing any signs of emotion that might give his opponents a clue as to what he was holding. His eyes expertly traced the flow of the game, taking note of every move his opponents made as he plotted his own next move.

I closed my eyes, but I didn't fall asleep for a long time, and every time I did, I just saw those sharp, dark eyes looking up at me from the head of the table. "Prove it," he’d said. "Watch me," I whispered into the empty room. The game was on. And God help anyone who got in the way, especially Eli, and especially my brother. Because when it came to something this perfect, I didn't know how to share, and I definitely didn't know how to lose. I could feel the obsession starting to take root, deep and ugly and beautiful all at once. It wasnt just a bet, it was a war. And I had every intention of being the last man standing.

I found it kind of funny and said, "Yeah, we're engaged, so of course we're good." Nobody answered, and the room went tense. "Alright, alright, forget it. Let's play a game." Someone spoke up, breaking the silence. Tiffany glanced at Janet, then pulled Mervin down to sit with her. That person said, "Let's play Kings. Whoever draws the king picks two numbers, and they must do a dare." Everyone was clearly into it. One round later, Tiffany and Mervin got called. The king had them make out for two minutes in front of us and post it on their socials.

I had thought I would calmly expose his lies, but my body couldn't help but tremble as I spoke. "You disgust me! Since that's the case, I'm done playing this game. Go, be happy with her." Shane didn't expect me to know the truth, and he couldn't even form a proper sentence. "W-What do you mean, you're done playing this game?" "I'll leave this world. I won't appear in front of you anymore." A trace of panic appeared on Shane's face. He clenched his fists, but with so many people around, he still forced a smile. "That's got to be a bluff! Your mission's not complete yet, so your sister will die!"

Then the King stood up. "I'm glad we're all having a good time here tonight. Tomorrow, the King's Games shall commence!" The nobles cheered at the King's declaration. It was obvious they really looked forward to it. "And as usual, the Games shall be a two-day event. Then, after that, my mate, Lady Raya, and I shall be joined, commencing a new reign for all the Kingdoms. So once again, you are all welcome to Winterhill. I hope you have a pleasurable stay here."

A silly little game, that is all it was supposed to be but it turned to so much more. It was four years ago and I was fourteen. It was my brother's going away party. Everyone knew I didn’t like to waste time beating around the bush. The air around was strange that even my wolf Isla had to comment on it. “Is there something wrong, Dad?” I asked, seeing how he was hesitating to speak. And after a long time, he announced “Someone stepped forward to challenge you” Dad announced “She’s also going to be taking part in the King’s game” My eyes gleamed with excitement hearing this news and I took a sigh, licking my lips as I tried to hide it. “It’s good news isn’t it? Why does everyone look so down?”

I have read a lot of novels where highschool student trys to play a game at a party but disaster always happen after that. I won't be a part of this game, i rather watch and entertain myself. I saw Kelly smiling already... "Is it truth or dare?" Kelly asked the girl "No! Is a new game...is called paper spreading...we use to play the game a lot in my former school.
