The Giver Novel Series Mga Nobela at Kwento

She told him. He shook his head, bringing out the huge novel and that was how she realized it was a series. And they all have different stories to tell. “This is lovely. You will like it as you are reading it and I will prefer if you take it.” He offered, pushing the entire series to her. She stared at his eyes for a while, searching for the approval that he had long given her. “Don’t worry, you can take it.” He assured and got the series out of his hands, feeling how heavy they were.

She was too ashamed to return to Sovereign Moon Pack, and no one knew where she went. I felt nothing when I saw Jonah. I pretended not to notice him and walked away, but he appeared at my door with gifts. When I saw him trying to speak to my grandmother, my face darkened, and I dragged him to the tree outside. “What are you trying to do? My grandmother does not know who you are.” Jonah looked broken. “I only wanted to make things right, Jade.” I laughed in anger. “Do I look like I need anything from you? What can you possibly make up to me? Leave. Do not disturb my grandmother.”

I mumble my voice trailing as my eyes find something to stare at across the landing. “I still remember what it used to be like out there. I remember playing on my bike in the street with sally from two doors down. I remember wearing sun dresses and eating ice cream, going to school on the bus with my friends, I remember laughter, games, jokes, music. We don't have that here. I remember it, so I have something to hold onto, something to hope for. But the younger children here, they never saw the world that way. Their entire lives all they have known is metal bars and concrete walls.”

Well, it would no longer be only a trio soon enough, she thought with a smile. Grayson grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl and handed it to her. His not so subtle way of telling her to eat more natural, healthy foods. She rolled her eyes and took a bite. Some conversations didn’t need words. Leo tossed a carrot over to Grayson. He made a nice one-handed catch. “That’s for you G-Man,” he said, “practice what you preach brother.”

Marissa felt a surge of gratitude, knowing that these gifts were not just material items but symbols of the love and support that surrounded her. Among the gifts, one particularly caught her attention—a beautifully bound book filled with handwritten recipes from the village's oldest residents. This was a treasure she had always wanted, as cooking had been a cherished pastime shared with her mother. The book was a collection of family recipes, each page telling a story of love, tradition, and the joy of gathering around the table. As Marissa flipped through the pages, she could almost hear the laughter of her family and friends echoing through the years.

How many days in solitary has it been this time? Anyway, since you're so cut off from your friends, and all, and since I know how you like to obsess over my husband and I, I just wanted to send you a little something. The boy is Jace Jr. and the girl is Jayla. Don't they look like their daddy? Everyone thinks so.

He was really afraid that if he let go of her hand, she would run away. Mia nodded, she obediently stood beside him, waiting. Peter picked up a large volume of books and stood in front of her: "Give me this." Mia couldn't hide her curious eyes: "This is..." Peter carried the book and looked around for her car, Mia could only follow. He lifted his chin: "Open the car door and leave." He put one of those booklets in the back seat of her car: “This is the first gift I gave you. It's also just a "WE" series, so please don't criticize it."
