Wolfsbane Novels & Stories

I took a deep breath and continued, “But I do have one favor to ask. Can I please have some wolfsbane?” She looked back up, meeting my eyes, studying me, and cocking her head to the side. While she was human, Hugo told me that she knew about our kind. He and my mom were not the only werewolves she employed. “What do you need wolfsbane for?” “It’s personal.” I wasn’t telling her shit. “What form do you want it in?” “What forms does it come in?” “The two most common are dehydrated and a concentrated liquid—usually we sell the liquid form in darts.”

one of the men asked. "It's a few days to his eighteenth year birthday, you can use that as my gift to him on that day, but I will let you know if there are any changes in my plans," she said, while a mean-looking man standing next to her, handed a bag that looked like money bag to the men. "Yes, ma'am" one of the men answered as they courtesy before her and started walking out. I hid so well so I don't get noticed. Wolfsbane plants are considered very dangerous for werewolves, a little contact on the skin can cause severe burns on the skin. Mother had me immune to it through the use of magic.

"Are you even sure that I'm your mate? Can you imagine having such a weak mate? I’m just gonna be a burden.” "I have no doubt." He said, looking at me staring in the eye. “And stop patronising yourself.” "I'm known as the weakest werewolf in this pack. I..i'm THAT wolfless girl. I don't have a wolf. How can someone like me be a luna? Do you want to live with the possibility of having a wolfless child? Oh my God, i’m gonna ruin the honor of this pack.” I began to hyperventilate, listening to my own words.

Verina’s wolves fanned out on either side of her, all of them large, dark, with glowing red eyes, crouching down, ready to hurl themselves at my pack. My wolves were equally prepared, stooping low, finding their centers of gravity so they could launch off of the ground and meet any attack midair. Or be the first to strike.

I yelled for the entire world to hear. The next hour passed with chaos; the assistants came to help me get her into a room while I got some herbs from the garden I just started tending to. Wolfsbane is one of the most potent poisons that kills a werewolf faster than a silver would. The lady whom one of the assistants recognized as Sarah, one of the Alpha's concubines, seemed to have a firm will to live cause it took every herb I could get together to stabilize her. I didn't know what to do, and my mind was everywhere.

I click the picture and the description pops up. 'The plant, Aconitum napellus, or Wolfsbane, is the commonly known cure or weapon against the fantastical creatures, known as werewolves. Though this isn't just a mythical plant whose only purpose is to fight those creatures of the night, it also contains many other dark and deadly secrets.' She was poisoned?!

With bated breath, Liam eagerly scanned the report, hoping for answers that would shed light on Scarlett's condition. To Liam's surprise, the report revealed the presence of Wolf bane in Scarlett's body. Wolfsbane, a substance accessible only to the alphas of each pack, had been silently coursing through her system for years. It was this powerful herb that had caused her wolf to weaken and eventually perish. The revelation sent shockwaves through Liam as he grappled with the implications of the doctor's discovery.

Grey looked at me, expecting an explanation. Roam tossed the flask towards his rival who easily caught it. Wolfsbane was odorless, had barely any taste, making it an adept killer of Lycans who could smell most poisons a mile away. The younger Alpha sniffed it with a furrowed brow, then went to taste it. I knew a small taste wouldn’t harm him, and I knew my furious brute had tasted it himself in my diner to confirm his theory, but still my wolf went into protective mode.

Come on! When she refused to say anything, I reached into the bag I carried with me. Neatly packed inside in a way that wouldn't affect me, was wolfsbane. As I unwrapped it and she saw what was inside, she became afraid. I saw the pure and undiluted fear in her eyes. I've never seen that before. Not in anybody. This wolfsbane has permanent effects. Once applied, it will make the wolf extremely weak to the point of death and if an antidote isn't applied in nearly a day, it will result in the death of both the wolf and the host.

A favorite clearing with a fallen tree was decorated with snow-white flowers and huge candles placed around the perimeter, Lilya shuddered when a wreath of thin flexible rods intertwined with fragrant herbs, decorated with silvery flowers, fell on her head. In Vela's hands it was almost the same, except for the flower buds. “The symbol of infinity,” Ar prompted Leela, leaning towards his sister and offering his head. The deserted glade was filled with werewolves, someone came in the form of a man, someone in the form of a wolf. All members of the pack took strictly designated places, according to their rank and kinship.
