Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

He stumbled to the door and saw that amidst the heavy rain, the streets of Greenpeak Town were lined with dead bodies. The town was silent apart from the relentless downpour. Wilbur trembled from head to toe, shaking his head vigorously. "No… I couldn't have killed them! It can't be, I didn't do it!"

Midwinter Town: A Novella

“A part remained to bury the bodies; the rest are with me.” At this moment Sir Novoveski raised his head, and great astonishment was reflected on his face. “In God's name, what do I see?” cried he. Then he rose, went straight to Mellehov, and said, “Ardun! And what art thou doing here, ruffian?”

His Hunger, My Curse

His Hunger, My Curse

Lena stumbled back as the first of the dead pulled itself free, hollow eyes glowing with unnatural green Lena's breath hitched as more skeletal figures emerged, their bodies wrapped in tattered remnants of what might have once been armor or ceremonial robes. The green fire in their hollow eyes pulsed in time with the Rift's energy inside her, a silent call that sent an unnatural chill down her spine.

Midnight Whispers

Eddy joked a playful grin on his face. I closed my eyes exhaling slowly knowing full well that the castle would be waiting. -Valerie’s Pov- If waking up with ringing ears and the room spinning wasn't confusing enough. The scent made me want to bury my head in the sand. The smell of death and pine needles made me instantaneously realize that this wasn't my room. Or even my pack.

Aegis Group Task Force

Aegis Group Task Force

Diha was short and plump compared to her sister, a fact Priya never seemed to remember. Diha unlocked the door and opened it, pulling the fabric free. A large hand splayed against the metal door before she could shut it. She followed the arm to a shoulder, then a face, her stomach dropping lower and lower with each inch. Miles Green. Shoot. "Good morning," he said, the words rolling off his tongue in such a way she almost wanted to ask him to say them again. What was it about that accent that got to her? "Hi." She held up the sticky note. "I just saw this."

Field Team 42: Paranormal Responders

My world went white. ********* I woke up to screaming. Not mine. Mont was on the Giant’s shoulder now, driving his blade into the nape of its neck. The charges were set, blinking red. He locked eyes with the Green Man, who had reemerged from the rubble like a storm given form. “Now!” Mont shouted. The Green Man raised both hands. The vines came alive. They surged from every crack in the pavement, every scorched tree, every forgotten root buried under Dust Bowl. They wrapped the Giant from toe to crown.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Once Hayley made the jump, he followed without hesitation. The moment they landed, the rooftop door of the building they had just left was blown open. About five zombies burst through the metal door with guttural cries, staggering toward them. These zombies were not quite the same as the ones Hayley had seen outside. Their skin was not that sickly pale brown. It had a green tint, like they had been poisoned. On their corpse-like, greenish faces, pairs of gray-white eyes bulged grotesquely, the rims bloodshot, as if their eyeballs might drop out at any second.

Army Mom
Enthralling. Not my usual genre but the world building was so very detailed and descriptive it became an addiction. A wonderful one. The characters are alive in my mind and will live there for a very long time. Intense action and one hella intense super strong female lead! Highly recommend!

words just can't describe how I feel about this book, after the first read, I turned right around and started reading it a second time. I'm super tempted to read it a couple more times cause I'm so invested in the characters. 100% amazing read. WOULD DEFINITELY BUY IN STORE!

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

CHAPTER 9 The Ghost in the No-Man ’s-Land POV: Elara The "Divide" wasn’t just a line on a map; it was a physical atmospheric shift. On the pack side, the air was heavy with the static of magic and the musk of the wild. On the human side, it smelled of exhaust, ozone, and possibility. I stood in the "No-Man’s-Land," a stretch of silver-birch forest where neither law fully applied. The moon was a jagged shard above, and my lungs were whistling; a thin, pathetic sound that mocked my expensive silk coat.

The Gift and the Ghoul

The Gift and the Ghoul

With a click, the clasp came undone, and the pendant fell to the floor. In a flash, Zoe’s eyes widened. She grabbed my collar like a madwoman. “Y-You… You didn’t switch fates? You lied to me?!” I looked at her in surprise. “What are you talking about?” Miles suddenly exclaimed, “Ow, Maisie. My neck feels itchy.” He pulled down his collar, exposing his collarbone, and clearly revealed who was actually wearing the demonic fate-swapping lock.
