Being special has a real advantage, it's like being rich in a world of poor people. Stepping out or mingling with them means you have easy access, an easy pass because they would automatically entitled to look down on them, they put you on something that's higher than them, unconsciously. They automatically be wrapped on your fingers because unlike the privileged one, you leveled up and become the most special one, like a VIP or a CEO in a company, or being the brightest star.
