Ciel growled out. Lucifer nodded. “Take off your shirt and lie down.” Ciel wasted no time in removing his shirt and laying on the table next to Daria. Lucifer walked over to Daria, and picked up a dagger. He gave her a sad look before he and cut into her chest. Her blood weakly spilled out of her wound, and sorrow filled Lucifer. Taking a deep breath. Lucifer reached inside Daria's chest and pull out her heart.

In his hand, he clutched a small, pulsating crystal that radiated a light so intense it made my eyes bleed. The Tear of the Sun. "You think you won?" Solas wheezed, his voice a wet, rattling sound. He looked at Lucian with a gaze of pure, unadulterated hatred. "You destroyed my temple. You broke my light. But I have the Tear... and I will use it to burn every shadow from this world, starting with your mother!" He raised the crystal, and the air around us began to ignite. "Stay behind me," Killian growled, standing up and stepping in front of us, his shadow-scars glowing with a defiant silver light.

It even seems to fall from the sky. The angle shifts. Josefina’s hands and blood-soaked clothes come into view. Fire crackles. Buildings collapse. Screams echo. The wounded moan. When the vision pans up, bodies litter the ground. And in the distance, above the battlefield, a figure flies—laughing, grinning, reveling in the chaos. Lucifer. Alive. Whole. And full of power.

His eyes, which had been wide with realization just a second ago, hardened. He looked at me from head to toe and stared hard at my outstretched hand with outright disgust. "No," he snarled, in a voice that shattered the magic of the night into a million pieces. "I don't want you. Look at yourself. You wouldn't survive a single day in my pack… You're weak” The joy that had bloomed in my chest only seconds ago died down immediately, replaced by a sharp burning humiliation. Tears that had initially formed from happiness now threatened to spill over in heartbreak.

The thin sheet of paper trembled in the silence for a long time, like the final echo of a departing voice. Tears finally broke free from Marcel's lashes and splashed onto the letter, landing atop tear stains that had already dried there. "Cedric..." Marcel's fingers tightened around the page until his knuckles turned white. Delilah stared at the neat handwriting covering the letter, her chest filling with an indescribable ache. The man who had always listened to them, who had grinned foolishly and declared himself the happiest person in the world, had been forced by their betrayal to grow wings.

The pastor began to speak "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away" after a while of silence, he started talking again "For the Lord hath given us Claudia Arellalo as a blessing, but he said in his word, Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy cometh in the morning" again a long silence... "Let us pray" they all rose "God, we thank you for the life you gave us. It is full of work and of responsibility, of sorrow and of joy. Today we thank you for Claudia Arellalo, and we pray, that you keep her family safe and healthy"

Don’t cry, this is a good thing.” He said hugging me again and wiping away my happy tears. “It’s a very good thing.” Patricia said walking over with tears of her own in her eyes. Lucifer “Well, my Darklings, shall we go find this Raul?” Lucifer asked the witches. His eyes had gone fully red. “Yes. But we have to remember not to hurt him too bad and not to touch his Streak.” Nexus said.

Lorn belonged to another, and Katia was sure she knew who. Thinking of the two Alphas made Katia’s eyes start to water, and she blinked rapidly to keep the tears from falling.
