Khloe was looking at the expression on his face and when she said she heard voices, she saw that it made Lucian flinch with anger, he was not at all happy to hear that. "What voices?" he asked. "Nothing," Khloe looked away not daring to meet his gaze any longer. Lucian sighed and took her hands, "You are their Luna and you will meet each one of the creatures because I will make you my queen and the queen of all supernatural beings." I growled, my voice rough and thick with the tension burning through me. Chloe’s smile didn’t falter. If anything, it grew bolder, her eyes gleaming with the same dangerous mix of curiosity and desire that had been driving me insane since the day we met. “I think I do.” Before I could stop her, she took my hand and placed it on her waist, her skin hot and soft beneath my palm. The sensation sent a shockwave of heat through me, my resolve cracking under the weight of her touch.
