The Hunter and the Vampire
Even through the bitter cold of the night I could feel the warmth pulsing beneath her skin.
“Vampires aren’t real though, are they? They can’t be – they’re fiction, they’re nonsense, they’re made up.” She wrapped her arms around her legs, and I shifted back, giving her room to move. I still feared that this was a trap, but it felt too raw, too real.
