Blue and black energy collided above the gate. Like two storms fighting each other. Then Lily saw it. Standing directly before the gate. Waiting. Watching. The Final Guardian. Nobody spoke. Its body glowed with ancient power. Then the Guardian slowly opened its eyes. The chamber shook. Then a voice echoed everywhere.

"A doctor you paid. You are the liar, Lyra, not me. You fake everything about yourself." Lyra growled, the veneer of composure slipping. "Careful, Nadia. My wolf is stronger than yours. I have power that you would never have. I have Alpha Lucian in my palms... while you... have nothing." The tension crackled in the air as our words became weapons, each accusation a strike in the battle for truth. As the verbal sparring between Lyra and me escalated, a sudden commotion outside the prison cell caught our attention. The low growls of approaching wolves reverberated, heralding an unexpected intrusion.

The security guard greeted her warmly. Alicia forced a smile and said, "Good morning, Tom." She walked into the elevator, her heart racing. As the elevator door slowly closed, Alicia felt as if she was entering an unknown battlefield. She didn't know how many people in the company might be connected to the mysterious organization, nor did she know if she could survive this invisible war.

With those words, the previously wavering thugs let out a battle cry, armed themselves, and joined the charge! "Let's go!! Take them out!" "Charge!!" Liam's face was a mask of ice as he eyed Newlin and his cronies. He snatched a riot baton from a nearby guard and barked, "Back off, I've got this!" The guards paused, confused by Liam's command, only to watch as he charged at Newlin, baton at the ready! Newlin was beyond furious, his rage boiling over as he tangled with a security guard, his voice piercing the air, "Damn! You think you can mess with me? Let's see how you like this..."

Five days since I was forced to train the warriors of the Blue Lily pack to raid our enemies for the fifteenth time. I lay on the ground of the forest, watching the borders of the Moon Crescent pack. The figures of the wolves stationed to guard the borders were stiff in alertness and if it hadn’t been for the light-hearted conversation they held amongst themselves then one would think they knew someone was coming, that we were coming.

“But you have to trust me.” Before the boy can respond, a sharp crack echoes through the arena and I turn to see one of the guards aiming a shock baton at us, the device crackling with energy. “Enough stalling!” the guard barks. “Fight, or you both die.” My mind is racing. The boy’s fear is palpable, but there was a glimmer of understanding in his eyes so I release him and slowly stand up straight, my gaze locking with the guard’s. “If you want a fight,” I growl, my voice carrying the weight of my anger, “then come down here and face me yourself.”

They finally got everyone ready to transport after the capture of Burican, Eric, Max and Courtney, all their people were in custody also. Once they arrived too the Royal lands things fell to Storm and Blaze to put the law system in place. Storm and her beast, Lylah, would be the ones to decide their guilt or innocence and what their punishment would be. The Shadow Guards roll in this situation was over, except those that would be acting as court guards.
