with me. this strange man was really getting on my nerves and i didn’t know what to do about it. he truly believed i was something i wasn’t. “no, sir you must be the stupid one, because i don’t know how many times i have to tell you in order for it to get through that skull of yours, i’m not what you’re looking for i’m ordinary and human. there’s nothing special about me...it’s a waste of your time and funding. i’m not some creature found in children’s nightmares.”

The CEO's "Little Man"

The CEO's "Little Man"

No, he was still hallucinating… He took another sip of the coffee, and another…until the cup was empty. And that was it. There was no way about it. No roundabout way to escape reality now. No matter how much he ached to deny it, he just couldn't. There's no way on earth that he could mistake the very unique taste of the coffee made by his little man…or rather, Angie, or whosoever she really is. All he now knows is that there's no little man and there has never been one all this while… Silence…Utter silence…

The Mafia Don's Little Woman

The Mafia Don's Little Woman

Fourteen.14. Massimo didn't come back even but I woke up to his letter on the side of my bed. He was apologizing for going out too early. I hugged the letter closely to my chest like my heart. I've fallen for Massimo and what he was doing to me, I don't understand. I always miss his absence. I arranged my hair, putting on the nightie I'd been wearing since I was brought to Massimo's house. I went straight down the stairs to the dining room, the only place I knew. The diner was unusually empty, only a basketful of fruit was on it.

His Little Wolf

His Little Wolf

Suddenly my vision goes hazy and the room starts to spin, I lose control of everything but manage to let three words pass my lips before I blackout, three words that I don't understand but speak anyway, as my world turns dark, they slip from my mouth before the blackness takes over. "My little wolf!"

I really like this book so far. Even though she is 15, I'd like to see an accidental kiss between Beth and Liam (it happens in real life). Or maybe skip to her being 18 sooner and finding out her silly teen crush is really her handsome mate. So excited about updates tbh. Can't get another of reading

I think this book was great. I will definitely give it a 5 star rating. The only thing negative I will say, is that I think you spent way to much time writing when she was still underage and sped up the book/ ended after she turned of age. I would have liked to see more of the story of Liam and Beth

THE PRICE OF WENDY

THE PRICE OF WENDY

Chapter 46 Wendy answered the door bell by opening the door: Strange news was being aired on the TV; her visitor was a little man just above four feet high. He was a Mexican. He stared nervously at the double barrelled shotgun in Wendy’s hand, it belonged to her father. “Yes?” Wendy enquired. “Senora?! Sorry, my many apologies,” the little man said his eyes darting away from the gun and went upwards to Wendy. “But I thought one Senor Willy Goodwill might live here?”

The Bonding Love

The Bonding Love

Mirawadee only wished for a split-second chance to run away. “Bro, Little Miss has ordered us to get rid of it. Let’s have some fun first, shall we?” another man’s voice said in a lustful voice that made him even more scared. Mirawadee didn’t understand the conversation between the two strangers at all. And when did you offend anyone? These people must have misunderstood something. “Who Little Miss? I knew no one,” said the woman, her voice trembling with fear. The two healthy men looked at each other. And smiled purposefully, ignoring the young woman’s words. The order that was given was to do whatever it took to get rid of this woman.

Didn't matter. If anything, this was cleaner. Less noise.

The Child Who Wasn’t

The Child Who Wasn’t

"For the sake of Maisie, can't we just endure this together?" I shoved his divorce certificate into his chest. "It's exactly because of her that I can't stay with you anymore." … Though the blood curse was temporarily suppressed, it would still take some time to completely eliminate it. Later, while I was giving Maisie a bath, the police sent me an update. They sent me a video showing Phoebe, whose real name was Madeline Lowe, a 31-year-old woman. Madeline was imprisoned and would often collapse and convulse for no reason, screaming and shouting.

His Little Hunter

His Little Hunter

“You’re close, aren't you? If I dipped my hand down there, I just know I’d find you soaked.” More moans spilled from my lips, shameful and sweet. “Do you want me to make you cum?” I wanted to scream yes. I wanted to beg him for it. The orgasm was approaching like a freight train, and I knew it would be earth-shattering. And then his words struck me. ‘Little Hunter’. The fog snapped. I shoved off him with a burst of hysterical strength, my heart stuttering as I spun around to face the male who’d almost brought me to climax.

الأسئلة الشائعة

The author of 'The Smallest Man' is Frances Quinn, and I have to say, discovering this book was such a delightful surprise. I stumbled upon it while browsing historical fiction recommendations, and the premise immediately hooked me—a story about Jeffrey Hudson, a real-life dwarf in the court of King Charles I. Quinn's writing has this effortless charm that balances humor and heartbreak, making the 17th century feel vivid and strangely relatable. I especially loved how she wove Hudson's resilience into the narrative without reducing him to just a novelty. It's the kind of book that lingers in your mind long after the last page, partly because of Quinn's knack for blending meticulous research with emotional depth.

What really stood out to me was how Quinn avoided the pitfalls of many historical novels—overloading with period jargon or dry facts. Instead, she lets Hudson's voice drive the story, full of wit and quiet defiance. I’ve recommended it to friends who usually avoid historical fiction, and they’ve all come back raving about it. If you’re into underdog stories with a rich sense of time and place, this one’s a gem. Frances Quinn deserves way more recognition for crafting something so human and absorbing.
