Her Little Wolves Novels & Stories

30 kids, 50 wolves, Caelum, Vex, Luna, Aria, Number 2 with grey cake he shouldn't have made yet — all piled in. Elara and Hope pushed to the front, carrots forgotten. "SISTERS?" Elara whispered, looking at the white-grey girl who stopped crying when Elara touched her. "BROTHERS?" Hope whispered to the black-grey boy, who grabbed her finger with his whole hand. Then both pups — not even 2 minutes old — howled. Not baby cries. Real, tiny, white and black and gold howls. And outside, 50 wolves answered. And 30 kids howled too, off-key.

She said with a quiet voice. Mireille was the kind of person who never shouts. She's known as the oldest wolf in the whole of the Silent Howl Clan. She'd retreated into the light parts of the mountains to live a quiet life after clocking the long age of 700 years. She'd seen wolves come and go, seen the not so common lycans who appeared once in a blue moon at different large clans who rarely interfered with each other. She lived in the most peaceful pack under the silent howl clan, Moon whisper pack.

So much was lost to us and I didn't want it to be our downfall. After flipping through half the book I found the section I was looking for; The Meaning of Color in Wolves Eyes. I swear I saw gold in Chris's eyes and I skimmed over the chapters until I found the word gold or yellow. There were apparently many different kinds of rare wolves that use to exist. "Ah, here it is. Wolves of golden irises are those with great powers to protect. Shadows are powerful midnight wolves. They were created to be assassins for the moon goddess to eliminate any strong powers that threatened their kind."

The little black cat curled up in her lap as usual. "Tonight we find out the real skinny on this, kitty," she murmured as she opened the heavy book to the page she had marked. "I don't even know what I'm looking for any more but I hope I find it soon." She opened the book to the place she'd marked, two pages of hand-drawn sketches. One of the drawings especially caught her eye. The face of the wolf looked almost human and she had the bizarre feeling the animal was staring out at her from the page.

Nerezza's Point of View I had put the awkward moment with Reginald out of my mind. Carried on as if nothing was wrong. It was Farren's seventeenth birthday today. The day she was able to find her mate. Fall in love and let the world blossom around her. For wolves, this was a great milestone. It meant she was done being a child. Stepped into the world as an adult now. Her high school career was almost over as well, ending in just shy of two weeks. Things were starting to look up for the young girl.

“I love you, my little wolf. Be brave, like your father.” Valeria obeyed, darting into the cramped space and pulling the door shut. She hugged her knees to her chest, her small frame trembling as she listened to the chaos unfolding outside. Screams, howls, and the clash of wolves in battle filled the air, growing louder and more desperate with each passing second.

he says, and she stares at him, while he stares at her with soft eyes. “Most wolves have their first shifts when they’re six or seven, then their full shift when they are fourteen,” he explains to her. I can see how she shifts; she is paying attention to him. “The first shift is usually supervised by people we call elders. Your legs might turn into—” “Paws!” she exclaims, and he smiles weakly, nodding his head. “Impressive. Looks like you did your homework.” I can’t help but stare at her, not sure what to say. I didn’t know she took so much interest in who she really is. How did she even know all this?

"That's not what I mean, Layla, and you know it." She stands quietly beside me as Marian, Jackson, and two hundred and fifty wolves walk toward the packhouse. I ask Lea, “How many warriors, females, and pups?” “One hundred and fifty warriors, eighty females, thirty pups.” The wolves show me their necks as soon as they see me; I nod and walk amongst them, inhaling their scent. The warriors step back when I approach; the females are scared, the pups curious. I rub my forehead; Zach's mind links to mine.

Loki raised his eyebrow and said, ‘You want to go home little wolf?' She looked back over her shoulder at this stunning, beautiful man who had loved her through all the trouble she brought to her his door, 'Yes Loki, let's go home to our Pack.' His smile was so wide it nearly split his face in two and when a little voice piped up, 'Dadd
