"Do you think I'm too calculating?" Sean remained silent and did not reply. "Alas..." Hazel let out a long sigh, her eyelids drooping. Her tone was innocent and helpless. "With my family background, how can I survive if I don't know how to observe other people's words and actions?" Sean went silent for a moment. Then he saw the driver driving the car over. "Get in the car. I'll take you home." "Okay," Hazel answered with a red face. She didn't know if it was because she had drunk too much.

Through the windshield, no one could clearly see each other's face, but the tension and provocation between them were palpable. The battle was on the verge of breaking out. Eddie swallowed hard. "Boss, if that bastard Damon finds out you’re the one messing with him, it’ll be a big problem." Hazel smiled, her lips curling. "That's exactly what I want—to mess with him!" In the next moment, she shifted gears and slammed the gas pedal. The two cars collided head-on, forcing the other to slide backward a few meters before Hazel pushed forward and sped away. She rolled down the window, extending her hand to provocatively wave at them.

Hazel did as Lily instructed, walking slowly to her room, a growing sense of unease gnawing at her. The silence of the house felt stifling, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something was being hidden from her. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a car horn outside, signaling Francisco’s return. She hesitated for a moment before stepping out of the room, hoping to get some answers. As she descended the stairs, Hazel saw Max waiting at the bottom. He looked up and said, “Ms. Hazel, come to the library.”

“We have five cars including yours with three having five passengers and two cars would be carrying four. We would head south. There are dense forests which we need to cross before it gets dark.” Hazel was looking around when she heard a peal of screeching laughter. Lily was coming out with her boyfriend and stopped short not expecting Hazel to be there. “Who invited you?” She asked her with a sarcastic tone. Dustin was about to open his mouth when he heard Doug, “I invited her. Do you have a problem with that?” Lily was not expecting the biting reply in Hazel’s favor but she chose to ignore it. Her boyfriend started nuzzling her neck to make her feel better. Hazel rolled her eyes inwardly.

“Okay, okay, calm down, Tiger. Let’s not scare the poor guy. He’s just doing his job.” Annabelle exhaled slowly, rubbing her temple. “Yeah, well, so am I.” The driver swallowed hard, clearly torn, then gave a stiff nod. “Yes, ma’am.” Hazel guided Annabelle into the front passenger seat, muttering under her breath, “You’ve officially mastered the ‘don’t-mess-with-a-pregnant-lady’ tone.” She slipped into the driver’s seat with practiced ease, starting the engine. “Alright then, where to, Miss Mood Swing 2025? A little retail therapy to calm the nerves? High-end boutique or private designer? And before you say it, malls are not happening. You’ll be swarmed.”

I sit comfortably on top of him, having me silently look out of the window as I listen to all of their conversation. After driving around for about fifteen minutes we finally reach the large house covered in huge Greek letters. The music is so loud that it bleeds into the car, getting everyone excited for the night that they know they're about to have. There are large groups of people walking in the street as they make their approach into the house, making it hard for the driver to drive any further. "You can just drop us off right here." Zac says to the driver before handing him a hundred dollar bill as a tip.

It was all the answers to all of her prayers to the moon Goddess. Hazel gently closed the door of the car and got into the driver's seat. She looked around the place for a second before igniting the car into motion. She wondered if Clarissa had noticed her absence from home already and she even worried more if she had told Axel about it already but very soon, she had something else to worry about. She was driving through a street with a not-so-good road so she had to slow down the speed of the car. She had only rode the car for a few minutes before she slammed her feet on the brakes quickly to avoid hitting someone.

Elliot said calmly. “Grieving who?” Luther asked with a shaky voice, but got no answer from Elliot. Luther was scared by Elliot’s words, he thought something had happened to their child. He hurriedly went to his chamber, to check on his wife. ___________________ Inside the chamber, the door opened gently, as Luther walked in. He caught sight on Hazel, who stood at the window, eyes glued to the sun in the sky. He walked towards her, and stood at her back calmly. Hazel felt the presence of Luther, and she perceived his coconut smell. Immediately, she turned to him, as she stood in shock, while tears fell down her eyes.

“Where’s my loyal little lapdog? Why isn’t Luca rushing over to defend me yet?” A laugh escaped me. Finally, Luca arrived—face dark as a stormcloud. He walked straight toward Elena… …and slapped her across the face. The crack echoed across the track. Everyone froze.

I was just surprised that THIS is where Liam’s head office was. This was a far cry from the pack’s simple town in the forest. And a far cry from Summerset. Hazel slammed on the brakes, causing my body to lurch forward. “What are you doing?” She threw her hands up in the air. “Are you color blind! That’s a green light, you jerk!” I gave her the side-eye. Hazel was generally a pretty calm person, but something about driving in the city turned her into a swearing, angry, maniac. I checked my seatbelt to make sure it was secure.
