The Lycan Kings Mate Novels & Stories

The lady who was about to pick a fight with me, the other time before we got attacked, broke the silence. “Maybe if you had kept quiet, you wouldn’t be here.” I attacked her before screaming in pain. Quickly, I moved by hand to the back of my neck, which just burned red before laughing out like a mad woman. “Well, if you must know…” I paused, teasing playfully as I watched their Alpha stare at me in anger. “The Lycan king is on his way already, and he’s getting closer,” I smiled, looking at the Alpha, who seemed to be scared.

He stood at the edge of the room with his chest heaving and his hands shaking, and he did not come closer, could not come closer, though I did not know how I knew that, I just knew it the way you know that fire is hot and ice is cold. "You are my mate," he said, and his voice was hollow, empty, like someone had carved out his insides and left nothing but echoes. "The goddess has cursed me." I knew what a mate was because every human knew, even the children, even the ones who had never seen a Lycan in their lives.

Maverick scoffed at her question. Mya rolled her eyes at him. "Calm down, Maverick. She's not the cause of your bitterness." With a sweet smile plastered on her face, she turned back to Cinnia. "Denzel is our Lycan King. The blood demons are the ones to be terrified at what he'll do to them." Cinnia's tense shoulders relaxed and she breathed out a sigh. "Are you happy, Cinnia Ramilek?" Maverick asked, his stare boring into her soul through the rearview mirror.

We don't need any more surprises. "I'm the rightful lycan king. My name is Chris, and this is my mate Docia. You will bow to us now." The man demands. He's large like most lycan men. He has long, wavy brown hair and steel-gray eyes. He's handsome but nothing like the real royal family. Docia has shoulder-length black hair and blue eyes. She looks a lot younger than her mate. It's not unheard of in the shifter community for mates to be decades apart in age. "We will not bow to you. Explain why you believe you're the king." Logan yells at the man. Chris sits back and smiles.

"Matilda, ain't you getting ahead of yourself? You're not my mate… we are just fuck buddies and nothing more." "Are you being serious right now? Lucas, it's been over three years and now you're just going to throw everything down the drain because Veronica has chosen you as her mate and you're going to be the next Lycan king of the Nightshade Pack," Matilda scoffed, eyeing me narrowly. "Matilda you are—"

“Until you prove your loyalty to me, that will be the time I will accept you as the queen. I do not want a weakling as my mate.” Bastard. The Lycan King should have said he would reject me. It would be faster that way. And by that time, I would have no difficulty killing him in the process if I found out he had something to do with Sabrina's disappearance. Why was I paired with the Lycan King again? “Being mates is not like that. We will accept each other without conditions. You will accept me for who I am,” I explained. “I can make my own rules. I am the Lycan king.”

My heart pounds, on the verge of exploding, as I realize my mate has been slain by our race's mortal enemies. Without the ability to shift into my wolf form, all I can do is stand frozen, consumed by rage and fear, as a tall figure emerges from the shadows. Clad in dark clothes and a hood, only his piercing greenish-blue eyes and sly smirk are visible. As his eyes shift to jet black, his form changes, revealing him as the Lycan King. "You killed my mate," I growl, my fists clenching so hard they hurt. "And what are you going to do about it?" he taunts, his voice low and menacing. "Didn't you reject her?"

Mateo. "Let me introduce myself properly to you, my darling queen," I scoff. "My name is Mateo Morrison, and I am the CEO of Royal Mateo Incorporated Ltd. I’m also the Lycan Blood kingdom’s monarch, and you’re my mate, whom I’ve long wanted to meet." I catch my mate’s eye, and her amazement at finding out who I am is evident. "You are what?" She inquires. "Are you the infamous Lycan king? Wow! You are real. You are not just a myth. I can't believe this. I can’t believe I’m a mate to such a cruel and evil king."

I asked the Lycan Wolf and she sighed, "That is exactly what I'm trying to figure out. Why are you in Addy's body?" I bit my lower lip in confusion as I kept trying to connect the scattered puzzle pieces. "Only one person can give an answer to this." She said and I raised a brow. "Who?" "The Pack's oldest witch." I blinked at the discovery, so the Lycans had a witch in their pack? "But, who is Adeline in this pack?" I asked again. "Adeline is the Luna of this pack, Alpha Reign's wife and mate." Another gasp left my lips at those words from her. Of all the people I could have woken up in their body, it had to be the Alpha King's Mate?

Liam stood tall, his eyes ablaze with determination, as he summoned his most trusted men to accompany him on the search for Liliana. The time for uncertainty was over; he would not rest until he found his missing mate. The palace gates swung open, revealing the imposing figure of the Lycan King and his loyal warriors, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
