Novel & Cerita The Lycans Kings Mate

I twirl the pen between my fingers, “ even if I stab you a hundred times, you won’t even flinch. That’s a given, because you want to uphold your identity…because a Lycan King never shows any signs of being in pain. ” “ That must have hurt your dream of causing me pain. ” Aleister grins, finally finding it interesting. “ No, Aleister. I just remembered something important. ” I continue to smile. His gaze drops to the pen, a fleeting look of curiosity flashing across his eyes. “ In the past, when Lycan Kings were not cursed and could recognize their mates…it was said that…a Lycan King had no true weakness other than their mates. ” I whisper, running my thumb across the warm surface of the pen.

“Until you prove your loyalty to me, that will be the time I will accept you as the queen. I do not want a weakling as my mate.” Bastard. The Lycan King should have said he would reject me. It would be faster that way. And by that time, I would have no difficulty killing him in the process if I found out he had something to do with Sabrina's disappearance. Why was I paired with the Lycan King again? “Being mates is not like that. We will accept each other without conditions. You will accept me for who I am,” I explained. “I can make my own rules. I am the Lycan king.”

"The Lycan King of the North." A stunned silence followed. Matamoros shot me a surprised glance, disbelief written on his face. "The Lycan king you say?" I repeated. The witch's nod confirmed her suspicion. "Yes, he is. He's the same one. Why do you ask? Is there a problem?" I questioned in a defensive tone. Matamoros voiced disbelief etched all over his features, "Leonidas is the Lycan King, please tell me this is a joke " The witch's gaze turned piercing as she questioned, "Is he the one who you want to strike with madness?"

Me, the Lycan King, pacing and gnawing at myself like some restless pup. Lucian leaned against the stone wall, calm as ever, though his sharp gaze betrayed the weight of what he saw. He knew. He always knew. From the latest report, my little wolf still slept. Hours had passed, yet she hadn’t stirred. Part of me hoped she’d sleep through the night. Maybe into the dawn. Maybe forever. Because the moment she woke, I’d have no choice but to face what was already gnawing at me. The bond. The gods-damned, cursed mate bond.

Not only was the clinking sound picked up by the Lycan King, but a silver-haired woman's shadow shot out. "Sicily!" It was true what the Lycan King mentioned that the silver-haired woman was his mate. Immediately the Lycan King turned to look at the angry woman behind him. "Honey, why did you wake up? Control that temper of yours," whispered the Lycan King Edward Slovasky. What his mate said could not bring down the Alpha female Sniders' temper. She continued to stare coldly at the beautiful woman with her implements of war. "You don't come at the right time, Miss. If you want to reckon with my mate's debt, then deal with me first!" Alpha female Sniders said with both hands on her waist.

The elders had expected this announcement at long last and it seemed most of them realized it would take a queen to survive. “Being Lycan King, I will decide my mate and being elders it’s your duty to give her respect no matter who she is.” One of the oldies came out and he was an old man having grey hairs with sharp eyes. “Yes, Your Majesty, we will obey you. But tell us, whom did you have chosen as a life partner?” I breathed deeply before I spoke the words that would shatter the room. "Lyra." A heavy silence fell. Then, as if someone had just lit a fire in the room, whispers and gasps started erupting.

And with that out of the way, the next thing on the list was actually fighting the Lycans, confronting their King. Days ago, I had been in a blissful mood, knowing that we had won over the Lycans, but turns out the words of that one prisoner Lycan in the dungeons was true. The war isn’t over until the Lycan King is dead. I haven’t seen the Bitch King yet and even though the tails of his brutality are threatening to the ear, I fear nobody. I don’t know how or when, but I know I would kill him somehow. The full Mating moon was in a few days. Hopefully we would get to finish this Lycan shit and I’ll kill the Lycan King in time before then, so that my people can find their mates in peace.

"I-why does he want to do that? I thought that was for mates?" Alex swallowed, his thick throat working down what looked like a lump of fear. "It is, Jane. But for those that don't have mates, or don't want their mate, you can mark anyone. He wants to mark you to become his queen, which tells us he is a Lycan King. He rules over other lycans." Jane hated the sound of all of that. "What are we going to do?" Alex cleared his throat. "We're going to do what we planned. We're going to ask your aunt about anything in your family tree, and then we're going to protect you at all costs."

I could not grasp what she was saying that easily. Because of all the denial in my system, I could not help but laugh. It sounded so ridiculous! How could it be true? Was the witch playing with me? "It's impossible! The great king already had Queen Axianna back then as his mate... how could he be mated with another woman once again?" That was when Nidhi proceeded with her story. "The truth that most of us didn't know until now was the fact that the last Lycan King was a “Moon Child," and it meant that he was destined to have two mates."

Liam stood tall, his eyes ablaze with determination, as he summoned his most trusted men to accompany him on the search for Liliana. The time for uncertainty was over; he would not rest until he found his missing mate. The palace gates swung open, revealing the imposing figure of the Lycan King and his loyal warriors, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
