The Mentalist Fanfic Novels & Stories

… Clinging to the 18 male hosts Mandy had hired, I bawled my eyes out. Sipping on a cocktail, she laughed at how pathetic I was. "Oooh, looks like you like him!" Was she serious? I was heartbroken after being abandoned, yet there she was, rubbing salt on my wounds. "Hmm, fake incest—just my thing! I'm definitely writing fanfiction about you two tonight. If you like him then just jump his bones! Once you get into it, you'll forget all about everything else…" Pursing my lips, I retorted, "You're one to talk. Why aren't you making a move after hiring so many men?"

"I didn't say that aloud, did I?" Standing, I looked down at Chelsea's high-heeled sandals and smoothed the material of my blue dress. Shrugging I said, "Maybe I'm just getting better at mental telepathy." "Good. That'll make it easier to know what to do." She touched her temples with the tips of her fingers. “I’ll be in your head all night.” My heart beat faster with each step toward the doorman's desk. What if my mystery man didn't think I'd follow through? What if he didn't tell the doorman? I'd look like a complete idiot—that’s what would happen.

I blinked twice while looking at him ridiculously. My jaw literally fell with what I’ve heard. ‘Adryan was his best friend? And Stephanie cheated on him twice?! What the actual fuck?’

“Stop trying to confuse me by backing each other up. “I know exactly what’s going on. You know Jason is about to get here, and you’re terrified you’ll lose your chance. So, before he arrives, you’re making up lies to drive us apart. “You’re just jealous of me. You hired all these people to trick me so you could steal my place!” Her friends immediately chimed in. “Exactly! You’re jealous because Linda found herself a rich boyfriend, so you hired a bunch of people to put on this ridiculous act and ruin their relationship.”

“Master Nigel didn’t want her, but she was still having the delusion that she could marry Master Ryan. She truly had gone insane.” “Her cousin, on the other hand, was very restrained and had a lot of self-respect.” “Therefore, her cousin was truly the girlfriend of Master Ryan.” She watched the people in her surroundings gossiped away. Mindy’s head truly was about to explode. She looked to the left, then looked to the right and muttered, “No… No, it was not like that, I was…”

I feel the last bit of darkness fizzling out of it … Justin’s eyes widened with surprise and confusion. I turn to look to my side, searching the crowd. Then I spot him. Arkham is standing only a few feet away from the sparring ring. His hands are at his sides, and he has a deep frown on his face. Our eyes connect, and I throw the pendant at him. He catches it in the air with one hand. He studies it, and then our eyes meet… this feeling… so strong… My mind feels like it is spreading. A strange sensation comes over me, like a knock in my mind… Morganite lets our walls down and his voice enters my mind.

“Being an elementalist isn’t something of your own will; the world either loves you or it doesn’t.” “The mind mage,” Tillaman continued and Kilvic ignored his companions, “is a different kind of mage. They require the strongest will amongst their peers. Rumor has it amongst those without reia that a mind mage, or a mentalist, as they are often called, has the ability to control minds. This is false. A mind mage simply has the ability to l**k with the minds of others. They input ideas, and yes, in greater prowess, retrieve information. However, the risk involved in both is so grand it can easily cost them their consciousness, leaving them as mindless husks of themselves. That is why mentalist

Maybe I should try to talk to her with my mind again. ("If you can hear me, try to talk back to me in your head.") I see her tense; it was barely noticeable. She looked around slightly alarmed. I smiled at her. She was looking around, not really scared but curious. Then she closed her eyes and I heard her reply in my mind. ("This is seriously getting creepy. Are you real? Or am I legitimately going crazy?") I can’t stop watching her. ("I promise you're not crazy. I am in the café with you. I did tell you I would find you.") ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I paused for a moment and stared at him and then it dawned in realization what he meant. "It's so unbelievable that a psychiatrist like you, who is meant to break psychotic patient's minds, is being broken in half by my simple mind game. How invigorating!" He exclaimed as he clapped his hands together. I was a fool for not seeing through his lies. There was only one person in the entire world, who could bring me down to my feet and break through my walls and that was Keith. "Anyways, my sex fantasies would be actualized on you, all i need you to understand is that you can take your time for now" He leaned closer, till I could feel his breath on my skin "I will find you."

I was gonna speak but he beat me to it. “I know you're here for answers. The question is, how much do you wanna know?” I straightened, putting on a serious expression. “Everything.” He chuckled. “Everything? Are you sure?” “Very.” I didn't need to double-check if he knew exactly what questions I wanted to ask. I think he does. Miguel mentioned they're psychic. So they kinda read minds or something. “You'll be shocked.” He began fiddling with some brown stones on the table. “Shocked? Why?”
