Under the Blue Moon
It wasn’t hard to see that this was probably his favourite story his Elder told him and the others in their pack.
“Together, the Sun God and the Moon Goddess had lots of children, bringing the stars, planets and other moons in the sky, and on the Earth, many creatures came and went under their watchful gaze. There was much love and loss through the centuries,” Elder Roz continued with a tearful smile. “Eventually, wolves came to be as well as the humans. The Moon Goddess loved both, though their warring saddened her deeply. She thought over and over how she could help them live in peace,” she said, shaking her head. “She could think of nothing that would help.”
