I walk closer to her in dismay “I’m so sorry Mam… I’m looking for my friend who lives here, do you see her?” I say in dismay. “Ahhh… I think I saw her leave this place hours ago” She says as her temper is getting less. “Thanks for the information mam, I appreciate that,” I say.

I hadn't planned on meeting anyone today, least of all, a stranger at my door. "Hello neighbor, " she said, waving, her voice light and friendly. "I’m Lena, your neighbor. I stay just down the hall. I saw you move in just last week and thought I'd stop by to say hello and maybe introduce myself. I hope I’m not interrupting anything."

The old lady waved her hand and said impatiently, "I don't know him. I said I don't know him!" She then slammed the door with a bang. Sonnet stood at the front for a while, organized her thoughts, and knocked on the door of the house next door. "Excuse me, do you live next to Tre?" Neighbor nodded and responded, "Yeah. As far as I knew, the people who lived on either side of us were elderly folks with no kids. How come she was claiming to be our neighbor? “I live just down the block,” she said, seemingly reading my mind.

Nadia opened it and took a small sip, her hand was shaking. Adrian noticed as he sat across from her, his elbows resting against his knees. “What happened?” Nadia looked at him. “I know you're probably wondering how I found out you live here.” Adrian raised an eyebrow. “You're my neighbor?” “Yes.” She gave a faint, humorless smile. “I'm right next door. Before she could even get in she heard a quiet remark. "Big time." She didn't bother to look who it was, it was her neighbor next-door who forgot the word privacy. His vocabulary must be malfunctioning. Fera silently ranted. Don't they know the word privacy and learn to stick their nose out from someone's business.
