Because I Once Saw the Light
"Let her sleep. She's in too much pain."
Mom collapsed to the floor and began to wail loudly. Her wailing was filled with grief, remorse, and despair.
I felt my body becoming very light as I listened to her cries, like I was a feather floating toward the sky.
At that moment, I suddenly saw myself from my past life. I was working hard in the production line and running in the snow.
I saw a silly Tamara and an arrogant Dad.
Finally, everything was over.
I was free.
"I'm not coming back again in my next life," I said, barely moving my lips as I uttered my final words and breathed my last.
