Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

It was the present, unfolding in real-time, in silent, brutal increments on a stolen tablet propped against his knee. The narrowboat, The Willow Song, was Rico’s idea. “No one thinks to look for a billionaire’s missing lover on a Victorian sewage network,” he grunted, handing over the keys. It was cold, smelling of mildew, diesel, and old wood. The only light came from the tablet’s glow, painting the low, curved ceiling a sickly blue.

Ravished By The Alphas (Reverse-Harem Paranormal Romance)

Ravished By The Alphas (Reverse-Harem Paranormal Romance)

The owner and his daughter shared a lost expression, while the boatman seemed to be trying to connect the pieces in his head. Sebastian shot Adrian a scathing glare. Finally, Adrian seemed to sober up enough to realize what he’d just said. He went quiet, suddenly remembering himself. He drank in silence after that. The rest of the meal stretched on awkwardly, the tension broken when Charles—the boatman—launched into stories about the North islands and how they’d managed to survive during the war. His voice was booming and theatrical—the kind of voice that could paint stories out of anything. Slowly, conversations trickled back into the room—but the air was still tense from Adrian’s earlier s

He wraps the entirety around his hand before pushing the lid of the bonnet off. As soon as he untucks the lid, it quickly comes flying off with a small explosion of fire. 'FIRE!.' The Lady And The Billionaire Scoundrel

The Lady And The Billionaire Scoundrel

What was your inspiration to write The Lady and the Scoundrel? I am a writer and full-time editor for many different projects, including a short story magazine. I wanted to write a contemporary romance inspired by my favorite romance novels as an exercise in discipline, to see if I could take on longer writing projects. There are several winks to what once was one of my favorite romance novels sprinkled throughout the story, so you can say it’s very loosely inspired by that one. If any of you figure out which one it is, let me know in the comments! While the historical setting, characters, and plot are completely different, it draws on the famous concept of the strong female lead that has

Ack, this is indeed a hidden gem. The narration is so good and the events that happened were so fast that I did not hesitate to scroll to the next chapter. Three men around Charlotte having different stories are more than interesting. Plus, it's of great mystery of whom she will end up with. Awesome

This is one of the few novels I have read that does not have the main character being slapped in the face for no reason, and everyone ending up going to the hospital for frivolous reasons. I'm enjoying this so far and really like Charlotte and Logan's chances.

Pregnant And Rejected: His Wolfless Mate

Pregnant And Rejected: His Wolfless Mate

he bowed. "Shh..." I cautioned with my hand on my lips. I do not want to disclose my identity to these people. Not until I'm sure that there's no foul play going on here. I mean, how is it possible that the ship that was well checked and set for the journey would suddenly default? How did it suddenly wreck? How could a meagre object in the sea ruin it, putting everyone's life in danger? "I'm...fine," Malcolm got the drill and played along. He dropped the formality even though it was obvious that he didn't want to.

BAD MOON

BAD MOON

Not knowing that the new girl was discreetly listening to him, keeping her distance from them. "He used to work on a merchant ship, he'd been across the world over the seven seas with his great Captain Ricker. He had been in many battles with him on land and sea, especially with pirates. Anyways, their ship came by here once and they took sheleter in this cave to escape the wild heavy rains back then. Then one night he heard someone calling out to his crew, in their dreams." "Sounds like a bad ghost story." "That's what I thought, but each night, one by one, the crew members started dissapearing. He wrote down in his journal that they'd find the men burnt alive by a great beast who lived the

Descendants Of The God

Descendants Of The God

He knew talking about holy scrolls in this place was very dangerous. In the middle of the sea, a ship appeared and seemed to be pulling over at the edge of the sea. Nathania and Keith observed the strange looking ship. The ship was huge and gloomy, even the sails were torn and very dull. Nathania shuddered, her eyes watching what kind of creature would emerge from inside the ship. "You see that ship?" Keith asked. "Of course I saw it! My eyesight is still sharp!" "I'm not asking if your eyesight is still sharp or not! What I want to ask is, did you see the strange symbol engraved on the sail of the ship?"

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

The coachman seemed bewildered at the thought that these individuals had abandoned their horses and fled, leaving behind such valuable possessions. "1650 gold coins indeed, quite a remarkable sum," exclaimed the coachman, awestruck by the wealth amassed in just one day's endeavor. "Hmm, merely an introduction to the noble world, and yet such a splendid display," I remarked sardonically. "Alas, it's an ongoing pattern. Despite the empire's declaration that attacking nobles is unlawful, who would ascertain the truth if a noble were to be assassinated in such a remote location?" lamented the coachman, shaking his head in resignation.

Scandalously Yours

Scandalously Yours

I had been trying to stop Maggie from being involved with me but it seemed I was the danger in his life. The first scandal in his life happened because he took me to the hotel when I was drunk. He couldn’t bear to leave me out in the streets and he didn’t take advantage of me either. His second scandal was when he assaulted Duncan who was saying things that were dishonorable to me. Now, I had almost killed the same man, unknowingly of course.

The Don's Wife, The Brother's Whore

I got back in the car. Enzo was outside when I pulled back up. I could tell something was wrong from the way he was standing. "What happened," I said. He hesitated. Two seconds, maybe three. "The ship capsized." I looked at him. "What ship." He held my gaze. "The shipment, sir. The Adriatic route. The whole thing." I stood on the pavement outside my own property in the cold and processed what he'd said.
