The doctors said it was over—stage four, nothing left to fight. I had three days, max. I signed the organ donor papers myself. If I was gonna die, at least someone else could get a second shot. Told my family I was sick. But my so-called sister—the doctor—shrugged it off like I was making it up. She convinced them I was losing it, not dying. My parents and fiancé fell for it. I don't have any other boyfriend apart from you," I said, trying to fight the truth that was staring at me. "Oh, please spare me all this. Whenever you are done with this drama, leave and shut the door behind you," he said, getting up and walking to the bathroom while I stared at him wide-eyed. "Just so you know, if anyone asks you who is responsible for that thing you're carrying, and you call my name, I promise you I will deny ever knowing you at all. And trust me when I say I'll make your life miserable," he finally said before walking into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.
