“Let’s go!” I ran into the cave, followed by Xander, but one minute he was in his human form and the next, he leaped forward and his paws hit the cave floor. Several of The Outsiders charged toward us, and I cut off their heads with the sword and ripped out their hearts instantly, causing their bodies to burst into flames upon the ground. With a wave of my arm, I threw several more against the wall and then ripped off their heads as they suddenly burst into flames. As we fought our way inside, the burning bodies of The Outsiders illuminated the cave, revealing three other caves.

Third Person POV “You’re going to be okay.” Caspar gently laid Olive on the infirmary cot, smoothing a stray strand of hair back out of her face. “I promise.” Olive sniffled and looked up at her brother. “If it weren’t for the poison, I would have healed by now.” Caspar’s chest tightened. He tried not to think about how Rita had not only poisoned Olive, weakening her and hindering her ability to heal properly, but now she had now intentionally injured her on the sparring mat.

I blushed as we passed the fence. A girl two seats away pressed her head on the window. “Gosh, I hope the guys at Bakersfield are handsome. Gotta make up with one.” Everyone cackled, contributing to the topic. “Hockey guys are always hot.” “Exactly. Thick. Just like Trevor Casper.” I froze. “His girlfriend's on the bus. Please, let's not even talk further.” Another girl added and everyone started laughing. I just rolled my eyes and looked down on Olive who's moving. She's awake already. She rubbed her eyes groggily and rested back on her seat.

“Which includes me.” Better answer. But still not what I wanted to hear. I spun back around and walked ahead. When we got to the training grounds, I was immediately ambushed by my favorite fan club—Half-Butt-Out and Bikini Girl. “Oh, look, it’s the attention-seeking, outcast, Liquid Paper face slut.” Bikini Girl sneered. I grinned. Oh, this is gonna be fun.

Fiona said, "You're deliberately doing this because you were jealous of how well we're treating Madie, aren't you? You refused to go to the ski resort and refused to take our calls. You even threaten us with money, all just to show us how important you are. "I'm telling you that Madie is forever my daughter, Heidi. It's impossible for me to choose you over her. If you come back now, I won't hold the past against you, and I'll treat you like how I treat Madie. But if you keep acting out, I'll really cut ties with you!"

Vin bowed and then left. Moments later, a beta female came in, smiling, and immediately greeted Cathy. "Good morning, Miss Cathy." Cathy just smiled at him. Unlike Vin, Ole has ambition in life. If she hadn't caught this girl, her brothers would surely have fallen into the trap. Because of that, she really keeps her eyes on her. “I’m enjoying my life now, and I don’t have time to waste on the person who stole my friends, my family, and my place in society.” “It was such a lowlife thing for even Daisy to do,” another girl added. “Olivia, why doesn’t your father have her arrested and put in jail?” The redhead then turned around in her chair and spoke directly to me. “Why don’t you have the decency to leave town after getting caught impersonating Olivia? You are trash to keep mooching off Olivia’s father.” The cafeteria was buzzing. Some of the other Alpha kids agreed that I should leave town. “I …I haven’t duh …done any …anything wrong,” I insisted.
