The Rejected Mate Slade Angel Novels & Stories

"Angel Hale is the traitor's daughter no more! She is my mate, the mate of the next pack alpha!" Exclamations of horror and even a few growls of rejection filled the crowd and Angel struggled under their gazes, struggled to keep her head held high. Lara, still in her own wolf form, lifted her head and glared at Angel, though she didn't offer any kind of protest or try to attack again. "Anyone who does not accept this is free to leave," Layon snarled when he was able to make himself heard. "Anyone who does not accept my mate will not be welcome in the Silverdale pack!"

I spoke and they laughed again. “Oh my god, how naive and foolish can you get? What made you even think that he would accept someone like you?” Jake commented. I looked at him and he looked displeased. Does he hate me? I looked back at his friends. “He wouldn’t accept someone as pathetic as you as his mate. I am gonna be his Luna and his mate soon.” Sophie sneered. “That cannot happen.” “Why? Let me say it clearly. I, Lucas Klein of Blood Bound pack, reject you, Ariana Black as my mate.”

"I—I'm sorry, what—" "I said no. I reject you, Sloane Thorne, as my fated mate." The bond exploded. Pain detonated in my chest. Something that had lived under my ribs for eight years tore free. My wolf howled in agony, the pain rippling through every bone in my body. The courtyard erupted into murmurs. "Crew…" Words wouldn't come. "What—" "I reject you as my fated mate," he repeated, louder, addressing the crowd. "As my Luna. As anything to this pack."

I told her. She stared blankly at me and I was expecting her to say something but she kept quiet instead. I knew that I should throw her into prison especially since she was a suspect but yet I couldn't find myself doing it. I didn't know if this was just her scheme to reject me since she's so terrified of me. "I want to watch you get comfortable because this is going to be your room and you're going to be working as one of the maids here." I stormed out after that, frustrated by the fact that I might just have gotten rejected and my mate had to play it out like this because she's horrified.

“I would never…” Slap! “Lusting after your brother's mate then taking advantage of me while I am at my lowest. How much lower can you get than that?” Jordan felt a trickle of sweat fall in contrast to the morning cold weather. He had wanted her to remember but not like this. Not at the moment. “I…” He opened his mouth to speak only to end up saying nothing. Another slap! “You could have just killed me instead.” She cried. “How did the Goddess choose such a heartless mate for me?” Selly sobbed as she covered her face with both hands “What did I do to deserve this?

I shifted and chased after her, but the next moment, I felt pain hit me as she rejected me. "I Jasmine Heart reject you, Kaiden Fire as my mate. I hope she makes you happy," her voice broke on a sob as my wolf howled loud in my head. I let out a loud howl as my heart broke. Fuck me. I started searching for her right away, but Jasmine cut off Fireside pack right after crossing the border. She was like a damn ghost. I sighed as I sat at my desk doing alpha duties. Cecilia walked in, but I couldn't look at her. It disgusted me now. Yes, we have a long history, but since knowing my mate is out there alone, I become distant from her.

I choke on the words, panic rising. I’ve saved myself for my mate. For him. “You reek of him Melody. How could you? I’ve waited.... we always said... I can’t... I, Arthur Slade, reject you as my mate and the future Luna of Silver Moon pack, Melody Fuller.” His cold words pierce me and my wolf howls in agony as her mate turns and walks away without a backwards glance.

Failed. Miriam Blackthorn stood in the corridor. Her eyes moved—streamers, the arrangement of us, Rhys's hand still holding mine. Her arms folded. I let go of his hand. Dropped my head. "What is going on in here?" Rhys reached over and took my hand back. I looked at him. He didn't look at me. He looked at his mother. "Mara is our mate, Mom." Quiet. Miriam looked at me for a long moment. Not at her sons. At me. Her expression stayed warm, nearly perfect, the kind of smile that cost nothing because it meant nothing.

“Stop it, Jordan.” “Come on. You’re unmated. I’m unmated. We’re both lonely. If we’re still without a mate when we’re like forty, we should agree to mating.” “And then have to deal with that kind of rejection as well when your true mate suddenly makes an appearance? No, thanks.” “As well?” Jordan asked. “What other rejection have you had to deal with?” “Huh?” “You just said you’d have to deal with that kind of rejection as well. I’m just curious who else has rejected you? Or what have you been rejected for?”

I asked with so much cautioned “Yes, I want you to stay the hell away from my mate” I was shocked, I didn’t know she has found her mate but what I don’t understand is that how am I involved in this, the only guy I stayed or joked around with is Adam and there is no way an ordinary Omega will be mated to the almighty alpha daughter “you mean Adam” She laughed hysterically like I have said the worst thing ever “Adam is my real mate but I already rejected him, you can have him but I am talking about Alpha Dane”
